Kudos to Grinning Death for a intense encounter with the emperor, and a over-all very enjoyable experience.
As usual, frankly, a all around kudos to the entire staff, and player base. You guys are working relentlessly to make things as fun as ya can, and I hope we can help you organize things together to make it as neat, and clean cut as possible. Keep it up, guys. I keep coming back for more, and it seems everyone has something more to give!I can't tell you enough how happy I am to escape.

I have to second that sentiment- Hats off to everyone, player and staff alike, for providing one of the most in-depth RP environments I've found. Everybody, take a moment and pat yourself on the back, you deserve it!
Of course, big kudos go to GD for his event- As per usual, my character (and myself) walks away knowing full well that what happened was not all that happened. It's that awful, compelling sensation of knowing something else happened there, you just don't know what.River Swift

Here is an overdue list of kudos.
Sandro: You kept the enclave's fire burning, and you suffer through Ramza's underhanded stealing of your ideas, research, and glory. A lot of players do not get to appreciate the very Thayan nature of Sandro, but I have been lucky enough to have done so, and I have been fortunate that Sandro is handled by such a cool and mature player.
Chime: The cleverness of your character is very subtle. At a first glance, you strike players as a typical big-boobed enchantress (what kind of enchantresses aren't?), but she delicately and secretly engrosses herself in subterfuge and political intrigue. Although definitely not as guile as a Thayan in these matters, she has definitely earned the wariness of Ramza.
Ylustriel Wintersong: Ylustriel's ability to pry the meaning behind Ramza's actions is uncanny. Her cleverness coupled with her ambiguous nature makes her an overwhelmingly interesting character, which I adore.
Maverick Bell: Indiana Jones who has gotten neck-deep in political interests between several powers? Nice. I am always torn between playing good guy or bad guy against Maverick to get more out of him, and every interaction feels tense and meaningful.
Nora: This character undoubtedly suffers a lot by the hands of Ramza's passive-aggressive goading, and she responds exactly as I believe a Rashemi druidess would. My interactions with Nora have been intense and interesting, so I have a lot of respect for her player. Also, I have no doubt that she is eventually going to snap and try to tear Ramza a new one.
Dryn Stonewhisperer: Dryn, at face value, is an amazingly roleplayed dwarf. However, like Chime, there is far more depth to the character than is obvious. Dryn's political movements are very subtle but deliberate. His diplomatic background, ambition, and dealings with the denizens of the valley shows his true wit as a character, and it amazes me as a player. I am glad to see him log on the server every time.
Thresh Starweaver: Thresh is an eccentric elf with a lot of character. A lot of character. She is always a blast to simply watch interact with the world around her, and although Ramza thinks little of her as a fellow academician, I think she is a wonderful character that brings a lot of excitement to the server.
Byrun van Hellstrom: A noble who isn't a socialite who advocates selfless efforts to lower castes? Profound! Breaking the stereotypes of a noble is common fare in Sundren, with the majority of noble PCs interacting and sympathizing with peasants, acting reasonable, and without minding being treated casually by adventurers. Meeting a noble who demands respect, proudly stands above lower castes, acts indignant, and whose character demonstrates he may have been raised with a silver spoon is so refreshing. Playing an insufferable noble who demands respect is not easy by any measure, so I am one player you do not have to demand it from; you already have it.
I know I am forgetting a lot of characters, but I have work, and if I do not get at least these down, I never will!Ramza Xantheus "...for a meager fee, of course."
"Heroes need the weak to feel important. I say, teach the weak the skills they need to live on their own, to protect themselves and break free of the chains of charity and victimization. The Triad needs people to protect. I need people to succeed." -Byrun von Hellstrom

Kudos to newish players/characters QWERTYUIOP/Dillian and Kormad/Dawson, for escorting Murin's precious ale delivery through the high-level spawns on the roads between Avanthyr and Aquor, via the old Trade Post. The Ale Express stops for neither Man nor Orc!
And Kudos to staff, for providing a suitably dangerous road in the form of the old Trade Post. I've managed fine using monster areas to simulate a merchant getting attacked in the past, but being able to use a higher-level Murin to trigger enough bandits to make a pair of low-level PC's sweat a bit, is more immersive.Last edited by Intrepid42; 03-28-2014, 10:28 PM.

Great big kudos to GD for an awesome event, with the aid of BAMF and Leithian.
Kudos to everyone involved, it was a great time! And to Thresh, the biggest kudos of them all- your RP skills are simply amazing, and it's a pleasure to RP with you every single time!River Swift

Kudos to... my arm!
Arm, wherever you are now. Be you floating through the brass palace in the planes of fire, or serving tea to horrors of the abyss. Perhaps sprouted eyes, and now talk at people through 'yack yack yack' motions of finger-tips in the realms of madness. Or hanging next to dead chickens in a chinese food shop in the Planescape, or help the heroine against David Bowie in some weird dark pit. You will be missed for your sacrifice.
I'd 07 your loss. But you're gone, and I can't salute properly now.I can't tell you enough how happy I am to escape.
