I'm constantly thinking ahead for upgrades for Sundren. One thing I have been thinking about a lot lately is the need for a completely seperate development and testing server.
With one, it would save players, and the staff especially, a lot of headaches. It also allow us to build and test things faster without ever needing to interrupt the live server.

Hey folks,
After a lot of testing and development (thanks to all those who helped beta-test) I would like to take the time to announce that Sundren's Persistent Drug system is now live and working!
It has been the product of many months of testing off and on but I'm finally happy with the finished product. Currently there are four drugs to choose from, and I plan on adding more in the near future. Sundren's drug system is directly modeled from the Book of Vile Darkness... [Read More]

Daily Server Reboot |

After following up on some people describing delays ingame I started thoroughly logging all server performance activity, after determining that the network and server itself were performing fine I looked over to NWN2.
It seems most of these issues stem from the server running for long periods of time. In an effort to help alleviate any potential issues the server now reboots automatically every 12 hours at 1 AM GMT -5 (EST) and 1 PM (same timezone).

There's a small update today I'd like to announce that I'm sure will excite you all. I will be testing several new systems for dungeons, one of which is respawnable traps -- this will allow rogues to successfully disarm and take traps. Removing a trap will effectively remove it from the area entirely for a set period of time.
