  • I would like to add my appreciation, checked it out today and great map! The pier is kinda floating above the water though...maybe that's just my crappy graphic settings though.

Yes, I realise my RP writing sucks. Just be thankful I keep it short

    • well its a dock on pilings. Its.. supposed to be. The trouble is placeables become invisable under water so you can't see the supports going to the bottom. They just vanish at the water's surface.

      • It's a silly graphical bug with the pilings - If to much of a placable is submerged then it looses its reflection/refraction in the water and just clips to the plane, resulting in the 'floating' appearance you can see on the pier.

Just had a proper look at the map, tis rather spiffy. You've got a good way with placables.

Thanks to Laurk for remembering us blinky-folk who try to get to weird places! If it looks vaguely walkable, chances are I've tried to get there.

          • I'd like to give a proper thanks to Sundren.

To the current staff members who are making Sundren evolve and shaping the setting that I've been bittersweet about for years. It's easy to complain, it's easy to point fingers, it's easy to get upset about bugs or underwhelming classes, or lack of loots, or any number of things that any number of us have, are, or will be complaining about as long as there is a forum and game to do so in - but, really, what you guys have done with a seven or eight year old crappy game engine is pretty amazing. The past year or so there has been a renaissance the likes of which has no compare. So many changes, so many patches, so much work and custom content and new areas and stories and player input changing the world in substantial and tangable ways. It's the reason I keep logging in, pushing towards faction goals, or personal goals, or just looking to make my little, personal mark on the server just to see what you guys do with it. Deeply, genuinely - Kudos, guys.

To the other players, who keep the lights on and hold vigil even when things are at their slowest or when stagnation seems to kick in. A story can't be told without characters, a play cannot unfold without actors. In addition, the quality of people (not characters) here is pretty awesome, too. A lot of good people, sharing their time and enjoying themselves together in a collective hobby. I'm glad to be a part of it, however big or small. Kudos to you all, for being here and making it happen.

Eirimil Gaelazair (Dead)- Bitter. Caustic. Abrasive. Egocentric. Probably right. Found dead in the burned-out Viridale forest a few weeks after the survivors were able to sweep the area after the Bloodmaim offensive. • So i would like to take the time to give a few Kudos that i keep forgetting about.

First off I would like to thank everyone on the server in general. I know i don't interact with all of you but everybody that i do interact with has been great. I'm new to the game so its nice knowing that if i'm confused about something all i have to do is ask and somebody takes the time to explain it to me. I would like to thank the DMs separately. You all do so much more than just run quests. All of your hard work is greatly appreciated.

Now i would like to give some more specific kudos as well.

for Skaald Silvermane's player: You are a trip to RP with. you are always making sure people are laughing and having a good time. I enjoy RPing with you and look forward to further encounters with you.

For Chime's player: Very similar to Skaald. You play your character very well. I look forward to every encounter. Personally i have trouble playing non-combat oriented characters and if i do play them they usually dont feel real. But you bring a realism to how you play your character.

For River Swift's player: Not as much interaction with you as i have had with other players but so far everyone has been great. I appreciate the IC and OOC help you have given me that has helped me shape my character Breeze. Without your help i doubt Breeze would be shaping up as well as she is.

and lastly for Michael Zollas's player: I enjoy RPing with you both as Alistair and as Breeze. You have also helped me out a lot both IC and OOC and have been patient with me as i learn more about the game and how to play it. Thank you very much for the advice. It has really made things click and it feels like my RPing as breeze greatly improved after that tip.

Thank you all again and i look forward to seeing you in the valley.

                  • I feel the need to provide some much deserved, and well needed Kudos to everyone's favorite Red Wizard, Sandro. This isn't for any particular event, but instead a general "Dude, you are an amazing RPer". It never fails- whether I am reading one of Sonufalich's post here on the forums, or engaged in RP with him on River- I end up laughing, and rereading the events that just transpired to my husband along with the exclaimation of "Holy shit, that is perfect!"

Seriously, Sandro- please do not ever change. That shining bald head beams a bright light into the world of Sundren.

                    • Awww, thanks Fury.

The human in me is glad that I meet my goal of being a fun person to play with, while the Red Wizard in me thinks you owe me $1 for using my name, which is clearly Enclave IP.
I can't slow down, I can't hold back though you know I wish I could. No there ain't no rest for the wicked until we close our eyes for good!

                      • Kudos to the guys in the legion, and the event this friday. Kudos to GD for having the patience to not kill us off yet.

Also, don't ever give Mhaenal a firebomb again.

                          • ^^^^^ I absolutely couldn't agree more. Major Kudos to DM_BAMF and Nora for not only actually getting a kitten for River, but making it a magnificent RP chance for everyone. It is, maybe a little thing, but more of this, please!
