Well, I largely missed out the bulk of the event so I can't exactly praise much of anything related to it. However, Maia's actions turned out causing her ruled permadead by the DM staff, bringing to an end I character I've had around for almost all of Sundren's span as a persistent world (the better part of 5 years?).
She was on sole link and attachment to this PW, so with her crossed out I've no interest in rerolling and continuing to play. There are other games to play out there, after all.
I'd like to convey my gratefulness to the DMs whom have been involved recently in my roleplay with Maia. Many of you have had different takes and opinion about the budding fairy 'queen', but I enjoyed the process of it very much, even though the ending that road led to was not exactly one I envisioned. But, hey, bad endings happen.
I'd like to thank Saulus. I don't think we've ever seen much eye to eye, but I'm grateful to the dedication you've demonstrated maintaining this persistent world. I was around for a good chunk of that time, and I think you deserve such kudos.
I'd also would like to thank those I've roleplayed with. I already made a round in-game giving my well-wishes and farewells, but I figured I might have missed a few - hence my post here.
Should any want to get in touch with me, sending me a PM ought to notify me by e-mail, and I'll come take a look.
Take care all!Maia Nanethiel ~ Moon Elf Female Ranger

There are many kudos to give.
First, kudos to Saulus, who has kept this server going for us free of charge, through thick and thin, for over 5 (6?) years now. I wasn't able to explore all of the new city tonight, but what I've seen so far has been simply breathtaking.
Kudos to the DMs: Grinning Death, Poltergeist, (Not) Kasso, QA (who wasn't here, but has run so much stuff leading up to tonight's event that he still deserves it), Doubt, and the new and mysterious Monitor Lizard. Your time and labor pulled off what was a spectacular event. Even just reading the status shouts while in the Fugue was thrilling.
And lastly, kudos to our community and its players. You guys have kept me coming back here for 5 years, both old faces and new. I'm looking forward to seeing where Sundren will take us after the Second Sundering, together.
Last but definitely not least, kudos to Maia.
Maia was a wonderful character, one whose previous incarnation actually preceded Alyrian's inception (roughly 5 years and 1 month ago) if I remember correctly. That she could have remained such a lasting and influential part of the server for so long is a testament to how well she was played. She will be missed, as will her player.

Kudos to Ramza and the wonderful things he has planned.

Kudos to all the DM's for the awesome battle. I was lucky enough to survive nearly to the end(thanks to having to wait 25 seconds for the armor timer I avoided the initial banite attacks) and it was epic!! Nearly getting murdered by Korvus, being overrun by demons, then giving token aid against a horde of Balor was soooo tense
Also massive kudos to whoever designed the new city it's fantastic. Especially the sewer area,....Some of the designers must have a serious soft spot for the Eboncoin. Good work guys and girls!UTC+8
Yes, I realise my RP writing sucks. Just be thankful I keep it short

I am not even sure where to begin with my kudos. I am still completely amazed at so many things. I went to bed at a touch past four a.m. and now four hours later I'm posting, because I was/am so excited about all that happened that sleep refused to find me!
Kudos first to SAULUS for creating and maintaining this wonderful, addictive, immersive world that occupies so much of our collective free time.
Kudos next to all the talented and creative DMs who organized and entertained a diverse playerbase in the prior events. Grinning Death, Poltergeist, and Not-Kasso in particular did a superb job of planning and storytelling!
Kudos to the DEVs who tirelessly worked to bring Saulus' vision of a floating city and a changed Sundren to life. Mapping and scripting are hard and often thankless tasks, but Cornuto, Poltergeist, Maevan, Tupoun, Doubt, and GBX all deserve praise for their contributions.
Kudos finally to the PLAYERS! If I tried to name everyone, then I'd run out of space, so suffice it to say that if you participated in any way, shape, or form in these server-changing events, then I am immensely appreciative! The interactions we have together and the alliances / conflicts we create are what keep me returning here day after day, month after month, year after year. There is no finer roleplay to be experienced than on Sundren - of that I am certain!

I am simply amazed. I don't know of any other way to describe it. The talent that you guys have that creates a world we players can get lost in is amazing. I have played D&D since 1984 and Sundren is by far the most enjoyable experience I've had with a role playing game. I honestly mean that. You guys deserve so much credit for your efforts that we take for granted. People we no longer have any excuse to complain. Our Sundren Staff has delivered. I for one am humbled and grateful.Danté Swift: Archmagus and Marshal of Sestra.
