Ok guys, I'm a 23 year old man. I pay my bills, respectful, workout - all that good stuff. I finally finished a great RP build and giggled like a school girl in excitement to RP with everyone. I'm far too excited! *Watches as the server is getting it's gas pumped* My body is ready!

This sounds like a reasonable plan. I can only look on in awe at the impending death of my unclaimed free time. We've already waited 8 months, whats another few weeks?

Edit: Apparently a browser issue earlier this week resulted in a number of double-posts. sorry for the inconvenience.

          Time for a weekly update:

          1. Factions are in, but we have not updated the faction stores. We're working on that right now.

Update: The faction stores are complete, albeit fewer in number than what everyone is used to. We'll be having one faction store for each city, with items strewn throughout for all level ranges. We've been lucky enough to get help from one of your own in this regard, and we're grateful!

          2. Maps are nearing completion, but we still need to update a good number of NPC's in order to reflect the 50 year jump.

Update: Every time I edit an area, I'm updating NPC's. This has slowed somewhat this past week due to family visiting for the past two weekends. However, this weekend should see an increase in activity from me.

          3. Classes are being fixed, there are some minor changes to make for some previously locked classes to be playable.

Update: Lotus is working on these class changes. He says that Rogues will be getting HiPS as a potential rogue talent, and Samurai will be playable as a regular class. Further, he'll be turning every single class' feat progression to Pathfinder.

This has a host of implications, most of which I'm sure all of you are smart enough to figure out without me telling you.

          4. Crafting is in the process of being fixed. We're making blueprints for items and enchantments, as well as populating the loot tables with the necessary items for crafting.

Update: Lotus is also working on these, and has compiled a list of blueprint enchantments to implement. However, these are secondary to the class changes.

And that's all! Stay tuned, folks.

                    Well hello Sundren!!!!!

I would rather wait for the extra things to be completed before the Grand Re-Opening.

I have never played pathfinder *dodges shoe* can someone point me in the right direction for what I should be looking for based on the feat comments above.

Also, prior reopening if the wiki going to going to get updated so that we can start planning out toon (lore, mechanics, etc.)?

Ash: Dusty old miner of still looking for the "mother load" on Exigo's stag

Instead of getting a feat every 3 levels, you get one every odd level.

So I have a lore question...

If it has only been 50 years, almost all elves and most dwarfs would still be around life-span wise. How are / should they be handled?

Alexandra Nezzerscape was a young elf (old soul) at the time, she reached very high status within the BH and was just shy of epic (21). She was ever faithful so I do not see her leaving the BH without orders to do so.

...so technically she should still be around. I know others have similar stories. Would they be NPCs, just gone and with what explanation?

If we are to have backgrounds with our new toons then timing is off. If I was to create another elf, well that elf is required to be 110 years old min (~18yrs in human). So that elf, if native, would have been around for the last go-a-round.

Can we tweak the timing? Have some explanation for more renowned toons (Chime)?

While I hate to loose my old toons I am very much looking forward to this wipe. I would either have it be a reset (no player history, sorry Datton) or if a continuation, then have enough time to pass that we can all say a full generation (for all races) to have come and gone.

It's that we can't re-create old character's or make descendants of those characters. There's nothing that says you can't play an elf who was a child for the time frame where the server's active story was running. Or even an adult. I'm pretty sure the only stipulations are regarding making new character's somehow related to old ones.

Everyone was encouraged to write conclusions to their characters for their retirement though the posts may have been lost in the older threads.

Create a character request thread with your characters you wish to have endings with and staff will work with you on each of the characters. For instance, others have sent in requests and the most visible retirement on lore at this point was Kyle Rendell.

Use what Lotus said to build your post in the CR thread and we will answer any questions you may have with your characters story there.
