Organizing Evil Cult... Interested?

This idea could work, but in my opinion, you must be VERY selective. Those "Evil Exhibitionists" are a joke and will just ruin the whole affair... leave them out. I would also like to see that this is not just a reunion of many of the former Drow players with a sprinkling of new players thrown in for good measure.

Agree, hells, evil isnt all black and white, many evil people doesnt know they are evil, you dont have to be in to demon or devil worshiping just because you are evil. done tons of those tests on the internet where you can see your aligment and stuff, and for some reason I usualy turn out LE, but I wouldnt concider myself to be evil.

What is this CULT stuff, you, only, succeed in making yourselves targets. Think here folks Evil succeeds because good DOES NOT knows where or who you are. Having a Cult to a specific being, and then wearing his or hers symbol is like laser painting a target for a smart bomb. Which brings me to Followers of Bane wearing their holy symbols, in a land that opening worships Gods who are opening, not only, opposed to Bane, but are activity engaged in a HOLY WAR with Bane. I?m sorry folks, but being a follower of a God that the NPC version of is seen as hostile by NPC guards is Meta-gaming in my eyes. Still it is a DM staff call and not mine.
Yes, dont whine if you play a Night Cloak who doesnt hide her secret well enought and get killed on the spot by e Sel?nite, dont whine if you play a Tormite who get smacked down by a Banite, dont whine if your Lolth fanatic get executed by a bladesinger of Corellon. .
People who doesnt want to get into conflicts should either be quiet about their faith or just play a unfaithfull and fear the wall.

For God?s sake, there are Evil Clerics out there that if this was PnP I would have striped you of your Cleric abilities in a New York second. I?m sorry, but Clerics of Grummsh DO NOT come up all Buddy-Buddy to followers of Helm. They DO NOT come up all Buddy-Buddy to humans, Dwarves, Halflings, gnomes, goblins, bugbears, gnolls, hells the list is almost endless, and most of all ELVES. You are Bloody Clerics of Grummsh, you know, ORCS above all others, and all others are nothing more than slaves or food for ORCS!
Dont know how it is on this server, but honestly, i'm kinda tired of the fact that many seem to play clerics for just the powers they get, but doesnt acualy preach or anything about their deity, some people play them as they didnt follow a god at all. . clerics are messangers of their gods and people should act like it too, not just play a charakter who for some unknown reason get divine powers, gods doesnt hand out divine magic to people because they think they are cool, you need to deserve it.

OffTopic: Lawyers Inquisitor... they are Lawyers...Originally posted by InquisitorFury View PostPS, I do not know who told you that there is no LE who work for the state... but they are around.
OnTopic:
An Evil character with some inteligence (LE, NE, CE) can show him/her evil, but can't be killed without reason. Same case like Liam Daroke, he is evil and the people are chasing him, but when us face him, he doesn't tries to kill us, so, we cannot kill him (especialy the helmites) and induces us to help him.
This weekend I played the first part of a campaign on NWN1 (Area51), my character is a Warrior / Blackguard (Lvl 10 / Chaotic Evil). With a big record of crimes on the city of Benzor (Yes, Nordock, but revamped), but not known on Brosna. the event lead us to Brosna and a stand on the gates and docks of the city to rebuke the orc menace.
In the end, a strange human army takes the lasts remaining orcs and claims the victory in the name of the King Daelos.
All the characters disaproves this, they stand with the army of Brosna (now 80% Killed) and a unknown king of unknown lands, claims the victory.
The "king" invites all of us to the "Hall of Tyr".
There, the High Priest of Tyr (the actual government head) gives the total power to the court and militia of the King Daelos, and steps aside only giving council.
Again, the characters "Heroes of Brosna" disaproves this action.
Then, my character stands up of the bench and closes to the High Priests:
-"So, if this unknown man has the whole control of the city, like Hero of Brosna, I demand a military charge on the city"
The priest said: -"What charge?"
I said: -"Guard"
The priest said: -"Done, later come to the barracks to take your uniform"
END
--
So, we read about a inteligent move of my character, now she is protected by the law of brosna, works to a unknown king, and is a hero of brosna.
Every act now is "FOR BROSNA" and I can act freely "To keep the peace on Brosna".
Also I can act like a double agent to the "Good Characters", working for the two factions I can flip me to the wining side in any moment and keeping me alive and wining.
PS: The character saws a shot of opportunity and taked it, and succeeded. Im not encouraging the Evil Show-offing anyway. But if you show you open evil and then make an achieve, you can laugh on the face of the good characters and give them a motive to envy or anger who cannot be released freely (generating this way, a lot of RP, and interaction)Lucy Majer - "Squire of ???????"

Yes, thats the first thing id do if I was to play a sucsessfull evil charakter, join the autoritys somehow, get influense somehow, and make sure that if someone tries to kill me, it will be a act not only against me, but against the crown/gov, being in favor of the law is a good thing, people will most likely think before they strike.Character: William Norain - Self claimed Protector of Sundren, Keeper of the Necropolis gate, the man betwen Sundren and Oblivion.
