Sorry folks, was just benchmarking when the scripting, data entry, and modding phase of the process was completed. Implementation will still take some time, but its real real soon. I have one more project to finish that somehow slipped thru ALL the cracks but it shouldn't take more then a couple hours.

Special Secret Bonus:
I went thru the spells lists and updated ALL the spells in the game to be the appropriate spell school as per pnp.
Examples: Cloudkill is now conjuration not necromancy, the resistance spells are now abjurations not divinations, burning hands is now evocation no longer transmutation. Etc Etc Etc Etc Etc
(if I missed one let me know)

I dont know if this is how it works in PnP, but did you make Drown a conjuration spell? I think it is transmutation as per NWN2, which makes little sense, since it says in the description that in cojurs water in the lungs of the victim.Pyras: Red Wizard of Thay, High Arcanist of Illusion, Master of the Enclave's Knight Commander.

That is cool and much welcomed...but just wondering if you are a specialist wizard that has a spell that is currently not restricted due to its school, and with the change it does become restricted, do you lose it?Peppington Merrifefferlis - Most learned scholar of the fine exalted institution that is Candlekeep, centre of all learning that is Arcane and magical in nature. If you are a specialist, and becuase obsidian's data entry person got lazy, you are using spells that should be denied you, yes, those spells just vanish all of a sudden.
It does not invalidate pcs as I've modded spell schools before.
If you have a spell that gets changed and you can cast its new school as well, you won't notice a difference (except maybe in DC levels in regards to focus)
Also, just so you know, the visual aspect of it is still being worked on. The spell description will still say that greater resistance is divination. It will take months of work to finish changing the FLUFF text, and hell, scrolls might never get changed. but keep in mind its fluff text and has no real bearing in the game except to someone who's too anal about it.
So please do not post bug reports on it. *winks* first person to post it, gets to do it.Last edited by sharringtonm; 03-08-2008, 02:50 PM.
