I'd like knowledge of local druidic circles
As far as I know, there are two forests, and no druid circles in either... do I have to start one, or are they just secret? It'd be nice to have some basic items like breastplates for sale that are called something like: "chittenous breastplate" or "ironwood breastplate" since druids don't use metal.

a few questions: according to many sources 1372 is during the Silence of Lolth, which was actually mentioned by a PC I encountered IC and would have an effect on Drow on the server whether PCs on NPCs; is this considered canonical for this server?
Secondly, I may have asked you this already Euniana; I know we had sessions that indicate the existence of a settlement of wild/wood elves in the area - will there be anything more that comes of this built into the server or are there other known elven settlements/outposts in the region?
Third, the name and some minor details about Colibrus seems to be considered common knowledge, based on the interaction with Saulus' main NPC yesterday; he seemed to act as if he expected people to be generally aware of this being and his recent activities; if this is the case, perhaps a sticky of such info could be posted since this seems to be a major ongoing plot.
Finally, are all the information regarding the region's history, factions, etc in the wiki considered to be in character knowledge that any PC staying for any amount of time in the region would have access to? I want to make sure metagaming is not an issue with this info.PC - Corwin Eska'las (Sun Elf pursuing the dream of becoming a Bladesinger)
Alt PC - Brevin Smoothands (meticulously groomed half orc bard swashbuckler... sort of... sings great, less fighting)

As I have not read the war of the spider queen series where she ascended to greater godhood. I am unaware of how long that silence was to have lastest. However, I have not made plans to have Lolth be in a "Silent" state right now in her cocoon, perhaps more incite on when this silence ended would be in order.
2) Elf Settlements
People live wherever they hang their hats. Is there an Elf city? No one is aware of such IC.
3) Not sure, someone more lored will have to answer.
4) Lore
I believe much of this is up to common sense unfortunately. Most of what is written I feel would be common resident knowledge, however, things like "Secret Hideout of Rogues" or "Bane has secret plans for the area" etc, should be considered, obviously, secret

One: This is negligible. It's in fact, a continuity and realm error. This is actually WOTC's fault.Originally posted by Ithildur View Posta few questions: according to many sources 1372 is during the Silence of Lolth, which was actually mentioned by a PC I encountered IC and would have an effect on Drow on the server whether PCs on NPCs; is this considered canonical for this server?

Two: Any elves in the area are non-native. I won't confirm or deny any settlements just yet.
Three: I have personally only dealt with Colibrus on a conceptual level. Nothing concerning him should be common knowledge, aside from the fact he was once a Sundarian mage that is now believed to be a vampire magi of some sort that may or may not dwell in Viridale forest. Either way, players shoudln't be running into Colibrus anytime soon.Sunder me? Sunder you!

How is each religion / diety viewed? Perhaps just an overview of the general major powers? I ask for my own self interest about how Tempus, Garagos, and Sharess are viewed in Sundren by the commoners, the merchants, the nobility..Virsing Etorix - blood thirsty axe for hire.
Faderiel Rashedwa - singer, dancer, noble.

Tempus is respected amongst the people, as Sundren has a significant Illuskan population who by tradition revere him. However, he is not one of Sundren's primary deities, as the area enjoys peace and the status quo. The upper-class and merchants do not love Tempus, though the soldiers and militia respect him and some pay him homage.
Garagos is less loved, due to his association with northland raiders that are known to cause trouble all across the Sword Coast. His clergy has no real presence in Sundren.
Sharess is a foreign deity little known to the masses. She is neither loved nor hated, though those with a hedonistic streak will find her appealing and moralists will frown upon her worship as everywhere.
As for the religions of Sundren, here's a brief outline --
Sundren is for the most part dominated by Helm and Waukeen, whose churches influence government and economy policies greatly. The average people of Sundren, who are mostly of Chondathan and Illuskan origins, are very faithful, and there is great religious freedom and diversity. The churches of Lathander and Torm have a weaker foothold in Sundren due to the power of the Church of Helm (Helm is known to have a feud with Lathander, and Helmites and Tormites are bitter rivals).
Umberlee has a strong foothold in Port Avanthyr and nowhere else, and Auril also has some negligible presence in Sundren, due mostly to its sheer location in the north.
I hope to organize the information on deities more in the near future.

Loviatar will rise soon and her coven shall spread the good word of flesh and fetish among the people... An awakening of suffering and torment...

"Dreams... such fertile ground for the seeds of torment. I can sense your ripeness and, oddly enough, it is time for the harvest. Please, save your tears... I intend to reap your sorrow slowly and have ages to discover the things that make you suffer... I am eager to revel in the sweet melody of your screams and the melancholy of your despair..."
