Ooh ooh! I know this one! *raises hand and waves it about frantically* Is this the one that zapped Logan for making a Canadian joke?

Sorry 'bout that, by the way.

DMs make an effort to integrate players that have a stake in the particular chain of events, so wouldn't it make sense to inform those players and those players alone of when and where the event would take place? You said for example "Tamryn joins in the last event in the sequence even though she wasn't there for the earlier ones" but it doesn't make sense if she's doing that at the expense of another player who WAS there for the earlier ones, since from what I've gathered, only a limited number of players can take part in an event without screwing up the DM client. After the players who have a right to take part in the event have been informed of it, then maybe a few other random players can also be added in if there's room.

And I didn't think we were able to join factions currently, with the poll about which one will be joinable first and the fact that their message boards are empty

The songs have absolutely nothing to do with the characters. But they are awesome songs.

You don't see the faction message boards that are active, they are hidden.
The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.

Lollercide: It is true, joining factions do increase the amount of fun you have on the server.

The Thayan enclave is fun, when I'm there to boss people around and kill them for wearing a red hankercheif.

Me and Pyras have had great fun from day one, playing the only two Thayans in that enclave.

You join a faction, you get involved. Me and Pyras had a huge elaborate scheme for the cube, and thus, we got involved with the plot... Even though it blew up in my face, and now Pyras will probably beat me to a bloody pulp for failure.

The issue about too many players on is (hopefully? Please? I'm begging you here, Obsidian!) a temporary bug that, in previous times, had no effect at all on the plot.

The only possible problem is when there are too many players in an even for a DM to keep track of, which is worth digression in another thread.

Speaking of Factions, any recommendations for me? Not many people stay near me for an extended period of time. :P

This has gotten absurd, so I'm going to close this thread. Staff, you're welcome to open this back up if you feel this thread is useful.
