Eh? I'm not friends with any Tieflings, and not with any Cyricists of Banites that I know of ! And I was just saying what I do. Others may do as they see fit, up to and including having massive hippy love-ins with all the demonspawn and producing little drow-demon-tiefling-lich babies!

[Edit] The fluid nature of the subject matter in this "GBX Rant" thread is well suited to the posting needs of all those Sundren forumgoers (such as myself) who are chronically unable to stick to one particular topic. I like it!

I count on my lore to make it seem reasonable that Drow, Dragons, Demons, Devils, Comets striking the earth, Godzilla, Superman, Aliens, and Ao are all completely normal to me.

I tried to befriend Devasha once, she took me to a cave, and then we talked....Then GBX had to go do something else, and I never saw her again

It's unfortunate people have to come to a sad truth. There's a reason commoners are 1 hd and no skill points. They don't know dick. To them, Drow are the boogy men. To adventurers, they are whatever they want them to be. They call it experience for a reason.

Drow is my favourite race to play but it always seems closed. Bah.

Well as long as we are kinda sorta maybe might be talking about drow. Personally, I'm not to fond of the KOS policy that some servers have on them. Because it promotes the "kill first ask questions later w/ no RP because the policy says I don't have to" kind of mentality.

I've played drow and played them well in other servers in NWN1 and NWN2 w/ KOS rules on the rare instance. What I've seen is that players get the thinking that griefing a drow is ok because "Your the fuckin idiot who wants to play one so its yo'stupid ass fault! And the server rules say KOS not talk on sight, sucka!"

Maybe to promote RP, even hostile RP towards that race we can remove KOS from that stigma of drow players. That would mean that players can't rely on some non-rp rule when approaching them. Also the drow point is really moot since it is a closed race for players indefinately. But it might decrease GBX's potential for heart disease due to the constant stress of reminding people to not be idiots.

Truth be told, the KoS rule is more for the Drow than the people killing them. People react however they want to. I'm not going to say someone is a bad RP'er for hugging a Drow or for stabbing one, even if it's just to watch them bleed. But I had more Drow whining on the forums than other people when we allowed them. "Why did people kill me?!?!" "Because you're drow Dolt!" So we closed them because nobody, me, Saulus, TheId, whoever, nobody wants to hear whining.

Maybe if I got 40$/hour I could feel more inclined, but to me, it's easier just to remove the problem's source than to try to get everyone to quit whining.

Then I flipped to the third and it was about high levels assholes becoming liches.

I turned to the fifth and it was about what grinding was.

I jumped to the seventh page and it was about leap frogging and being an OOC asshole.

I'm on the ninth page now, and it seems to be about drow.

I have come to the conclusion this topic is about- Judging high level asshole lich drows grinding.
