Though I certainly wouldn't be opposed to making good aligned Warlocks application only, it's just weird seeing so many happy-go-lucky Warlocks running around Sundren shooting rays of sunshine all over the camp and being so full of joy. Warlocks are persecuted and oftentimes hunted by mobs.

CN warlocks for the win . If they're put down so much and hated, Good warlocks should be very rare, as such hatred to a person would most likely make them angry and would atleast cause them to make a few evil acts to those that terrorize them and piss them off.

That's the idea. Even the most kind-hearted people become cynical and bitter when everything they do is turned back on them. Then add in the fact that the power tends to corrupt (warlocks dealing in an 'absolute' power that corrupts 'absolutely'), and the last part clicks in place.

Reinamar Stormseeker - The bladestorm that must turn back the wind. Arkerym of The People, practitioner of the forgotten art, pariah.

Tyler Penleigh - Obligatory author insert, Red Blade Defender, sarcastic jerk, caring brother, loving fiancé, war criminal.

Eirimil Gaelazair (Dead)- Bitter. Caustic. Abrasive. Egocentric. Probably right. Found dead in the burned-out Viridale forest a few weeks after the survivors were able to sweep the area after the Bloodmaim offensive. Aside from his usual attire, an intricate music box was the only thing in his possession.

Mhm. Just like Drow, hated by everyone, making them slowly evil. But anyways, sorry for bringing this subject back on Warlocks again. I suggest making a thread simply on Warlocks if ppl want to continue this discussion..

                For your reading pleasure:

In the Realms, there are a number of possible supernatural origins for warlocks. The most common is an infernal source such as the fallen archdevil demigod Gargauth or the archdevils Asmodeus and Mephistopheles. These individuals represent the majority of warlocks and are, with rare exceptions, almost universally evil.

A small number of warlocks derive their powers from fey pacts and bloodlines. These most commonly arise from pacts with the unseelie courtiers of the Queen of Air and Darkness, but other sources exist as well. A small band of shadar-kai warlocks has been spotted along the Golden Way near Telflamm.

Elven powers native to Faer?n also have spawned warlocks. The chaotic energies of the deteriorating Sild?yuir have affected the births of a small number of Star Elves, creating powerful magical defenders. Led by their indomitable leader, Pherix Traeleth, they act as a defensive bridge between the Yuirwood and the Sild?yuir plane, fending off incursions on both ends.

More specifically - I read the article, discovered he was right, and said "Oh, well ba-humbug" and posted in case others wanted to read it I then went off merrily to roll up a different character since I'm avoiding evil at the moment :P Just dont tell me that arcane archers are evil and we're all cool :P

I thought I already posted that link.

Anyhoo: Are party leaders that big a deal? Does a party have to have a leader? Especially in a "pick up" group, I would expect that there is no leader.
This is the best signature I could think of.
