That spell doesn't reveal people who are just hiding. Only those hiding via magic.

Not that I want to derail, but the ONLY spell I know of that can help you spot a hidden person is glitterdust, which we don't have in Sundren (to my knowledge).

Even True seeing which allows the caster to see through all darkness and shadow, magical or mundane, somehow doesn't give you even a +1 to spot hiding creatures, dispite that without shadows and darkness, its pretty damn hard to hide. Most rogue gear helps you "blend" with shadows, which is where the +'s come from.

Don't mistake me, I wouldn't ask for this kind of thing because its just another in an endless spiral of attempts to make D&D make sense, which won't happen. Someone starts nitpicking about how this spell works, or that, but they only pick their favorites and forget the plethora of other spells that make NO sense. Sometimes, its best to leave well enough alone.

All creatures and objects within zone of revelation's area are made visible.
Doesn't say "only from magical effects" there. On Sundren it actually instantly knocks any and all people in stealth that are within the AoE out of stealth without a save, as well as people in Ethereal or Invisible. Unless they have SR, which most stealthers don't.

We already nerfed the Bigby's line and adjusted clerics and favored souls to make their godmode less godmode.

Also, this spell and that spell.

Our method is we throw everything that you love into a pinata and swing at it with our Nerf bat. Whatever falls out gets nerfed. We put no thought into the consequences of our actions, and we completely reject foresight.

Many stealthers would disagree with you.
              Characters:
Peridan Twilight, one-eyed dog of the Legion, deceased.
Daniel Nobody, adventurer and part time problem solver.

I looked into the scripts for these spells a moment ago, while it is possible to make the adjustments, the manner the spell definitions are handled in the vanilla spells is a bit of a pain in the butt. Essentially anything that is not handled in the .2da would need a specific exception applied to the line reference in the spell inclusion scripts to handle the new definitions. Otherwise, perhaps a hard scripted version to replace the vanilla version would be a more solid solution... either way, a great deal of work. In the case of sanctuary, it is treated as a spell breach. (with the specific exclusions and inclusions handled via 2da)

                Ulriel Gabrieth, Devout of Lathander

Sup all! There is one simple answer to this: LEARN TO ADAPT! This is our world, other worlds, game worlds, fantasy worlds - ETC! You must learn, to adapt, with any consequence to come! They're doing whats in best interest of RP - not best interest of combat.

(Except with Bigby :/ Why would you touch powerful spells? That takes up one of my spell slots > )

But in any case - they're doing it for the best of us all. Inconveniences are simply ways to teach us what happens when unprepared! ^^

                  IVE DERAILED! BLAH!

                  TOO LONG DIDN'T READ!:
Shit happens when you party naked Just have fun, and remember it's for the best of us all!
