We're not disabling the sanctuary effect at this time or likely at any time in the future. The class is working as intended.
Just curious, I get the restriction on offensive spells as part of a pacifist character, but why no defensive spells?

I do have armor, defensive gear, and while no "training" I suppose Abby woud be pretty good at a shield by now given her HP & BA which come from being high level. However, my gear is just limited by poverty vows, so I get what is donated basically. Its never been important for me to be a combat-machine cleric because I could act as healing support in ethrealness before. I should note however that I have never had any trouble playing characters like this elsewhere. This is the first time that ethrealness has ever been disabled for healers. That in combination with the broken Sanctuary effect is a pretty serious limitation on my character concept. I could continue with either one, but not both issues.
Doubtful are you still working on this, or has Lotus (or the staff in general) asked you to stop?
