I see messages like this from FooGoo and then when you read a DM's point of view, like GD -- it seems to be the total opposite. I suspect the truth is somewhere inbetween.
As I said before, it's easy to sit here on the soapbox, but so far I've only had one person step forward and send me a PM offering to actually help and do something.
It's frustrating when someone can write 3 pages of criticism but when you ask them to pick up a hammer and nails the room is empty. There is very little creative control I impose on anyone (DMs, Devs), so what it comes down to is people willing to work out the problems, decide what's most important and create a plan of action.
I can help with all of that, but this isn't like 4 years ago where I could spend 20 hours a week working on the module, and the rest of us still volunteering (2 or 3 other than me? Semi-active) certainly don't have it either.
