Whoa wait a minute! I am attaching .png files and it looks like the forum is converting them to jpg and dropping the transparency!

Tell you what, when I get home, I'll post the png files with transparency to my dropbox account and give you a link to them from there so you can copy them to imageshack. The transparent images should look cleaner on the wiki.

I can also post an image without the banner should the dev team want to convert the images to .dds for use in-game.

One is curious to what benefits, if any, would be attributed to those PC's that are henchmen of the noble families. Beyond getting event xp, obviously. If you were a henchmen of a noble PC who belonged to the same faction and he won the game that week, advancing his factions goals in the nobility scene, would that achieve faction rep for noble and henchmen alike? Just curious, in the end, I'd do it just for the fun of getting to be a henchman as a grumpy old man, or a good aligned monk, or any of my other characters.

Well, think of it this way: Why would your PC decide to be a bondsman for a noble in the first place?

Gold?
Favors?
Magic items?
Rare gems?

That'll be part of the noble's job, to sway PC's to work for them. And if their noble happens to win the Throne, they'll in all likelihood have some rewards in store for them that they might have to partially part with in order to pay the PC.

Edit: And rules will be forthcoming, as soon as I hammer out loopholes.

I need a little guidance on the Meriadoc Crest. I am having a hard time picturing it from the description. Also, would you like Crest's for Hellstrom and LaCroix also?

i personally prefer crashing waves over rising ones. but I guess Meriadoc would go something like this but with a black boat on the front.



but I'm also feeling some umberlee influence here (might be personal as I dig the wicked queen) so maybe something like this but toned down



you can really go two routes with it, in my view. give it a romantic pirate feel or the dreaded pirate feel. seeing their motto is 'One Step Ahead' I'd suggest more of a morning, rising sun, feel to it. which would probably also be the more romantic route which also works with given lore.

Those look amazing! And the idea behind the Meriadoc crest is the black sailed ship out-running whoever is following it on the wave. But I'm open to interpretations! And if you have time to do the Hellstrom and Lacroix crests, that'd be pretty cool.

Also, let me know via PM what kind of noble PC you'd like to play.
