Nah, I'm a drifter IRL (read: bum), so I'm constantly moving from city to city, state to state. A lot of the times this means I won't have reliable internet, or my computer, and it's kind of lame to have a "I'M LEAVING LOL" thread every other month, just to have me post "BACK LOL" every other week.

What I'm trying to say is that I hate you and Dain should become a vampire to show the vampires how to really vampire.

Someone mentioned hoods being suspicious. All I have to say is this. For the lulz,I once wore my hood on my hoody which is roughly the same size at least in looks of the ones in game, the face covering ones that is

Takenbythestorm was their. It was lulzy.

You pretty much can't see anything.

      Why?

Well. It hides your face. You know, obscures it. On that note, all you can see is the floor, unless you crane your head back and look a little rediculous.

Needless to say, I can't help but laugh now when I see someone being clever in a hood.

      >.>

But.. I figure people who are awesomesauce at being sneaky would probably have a disguise instead of a flimsy, inconvenient hood that destroys your abiility to see stuff without looking ridonkulous.

Hoods are less concealing than you think. Every lass in Sundren, for instance, knows exactly what Dain's mouth looks like.

                  Next update:

                  - Nondetection spell will go in and scrolls of it
                  - Consumable item with nondetection charges will go in
                  - Permanent Nondetection items will exist, but how they will be distributed I don't know
                  - Prot from good/evil will no longer protect against Detect Good/Evil

Unlike P&P there will be no roll. There's not enough spells to warrant the roll anyway and it's impossible to determine what level the effects are cast at. You cast it, while it's active all detect spells and locate spells will fail against you.

will the spells to hide from detection let you know when/if someone looks for you. just a little "a spell seeking you has been stopped" to make you feel all warme and smug about it.

                    • Sort of pointless, but I actually still like the idea lol. Would the caster know ICly whether they'd foiled a detect spell?

                      • They wouldn't know in PnP, no sense putting it in here. Also:
Permanent Nondetection items will exist, but how they will be distributed I don't know
Assassins should get nondetection for 24 hours, as per their PnP class features. Either mod the class, or get them access to items that have 1 use/day for the appropriate duration.

I have no issue being detected But I would like to actually be hired as an assassin rather then just be assumed as one before I get a chance to knife somebody for pay

The Assassin PrC requirement, Bloodletter, demands that you kill someone in cold blood, for money, before you obtain the feat. By taking Assassin levels, this means you have already killed someone for pay, unless they have changed this?

                            • Nondetection is a ranger and wizard spell (though Trickery domains also gives the spell).

Will Undetectable Alignment go in for bards, clerics and paladins, and will Trickery domain clerics get Nondetection? Also, will Detect Alignment go in as a spell for clerics?

And if there's only going to be a very small number of these sorts of divination and counterdivination spells, could Nondetection apply the caster's level as a local Int on the target, then Locate Creature and Detect Alignment could just roll against the stored number?
