Common escape method is generally countered by equally common 126gp potion. That being said is there any way to stop someone using etherealness? I thought the caster litterally jumped into a different plane and no method of divination could bar them.

Yeah, and I don't mind someone using a super high level spell to escape! It's the level 2 one that'd be my concern. Unless we're willing to give them a Swiss Army Dimensional Anchor, I think Ethereal is fine (personally speaking!). Sadly, I don't think Ethereal works in NWN2 at the planar level."Microsoft has to move the Reply All button further away from the Reply button. It's the computer equivalent of putting the vagina so close to the sphincter."

True, I never really thought about that. I suppose full BAB isn't really too much, and it is undoubtedly useful.Originally posted by Poltergeist View PostIn regards to High BAB vs Medium, keep in mind the fighter changes. They get more than just a high BAB now. They have weapon/armor training/mastery, along with access to greater specialization, and the other custom fighter feats. If you go Mage Killer you lose those, especially as the masteries are at the lvl 19/20.

Spell failure is something that applies to all spell casting, regardless of source. Arcane spell failure is very specifically spell failure that applies to arcane spellcasting from wearing armor or using shields. Shar's Abbadon applies 100% spell failure, for instance.
So yes, this will apply to clerics and wizards equally.

Good stuff
Could we actually give clerics asf though, so they'd have to think about armour and its implications? Or take feats like a mage to reduce the effect. It is the greatest of all mistakes to do nothing because you can only do a little - Do what you can.

That might be a bit harsh on them though, since suddenly there would be no way for them to wear full plate! In the old campaign I used to run, Clerics didn't get any armor or shield proficiency unless they had the War domain or took levels in a martial class. They got...I think it was Skill focus (Knowledge:Religion) and Skill focus (Diplomacy) instead.
