Why not put your bored time to good use; simply follow in the footsteps of the Stuxnet writers and create some fun and entertaining virusy thing that can affect machinery and attached systems.
Cashpoints/ATMs would be where I'd start - They run on windows OS's and are updated by memory sticks every so often (new graphics and all that).
Failing that, I'd say target the systems that run the robots in car manufacturing plants. Get them to write swearwords when they're painting (or welding, if you're ambitious).

Dang, I did something wrong while choosing a career. All I do is work all day long while at work. Harder and faster, more demands made, more paper work and the people sitting at desks that check that you put the checks in the check boxes complaining if you missed checking a check box. Then there is a bunch of other stuff. On the bright side, work is good and there is plenty of it.Comment
