Wizard vs. Sorceror - Spellcasting power

Yeah, i've always loved having wizards because of the variety of spells. Just having lots of useless junk that i'd never use seemed appealing O_o. Like.. Dominate Person. I remember with my wizard most of the time i crammed the spellbook with pvp spells, every day use spells, and teamwork spells. Never, ever, used them :X

Dominate Person is hardly useless. For combat, maybe, because Bioware/Obsidian heavily nerfed it. But in PnP, it's 1 DAY per level. That means lots of good opportunity for it in RP.

Plus, I find wizards have better use for spells in RP. Sorc is limited to what they get each level. Wizard can crack open their tome and you can use spells from the players hanbook ect. Kinda like what clerics can do, big advantage there.

Yep, I have a ton of PnP spells in my character sheet that aren't in-game that I use, particularly Suggestion. Though I need to update my sheet to my latest level..
