http://www.sundren.org/index.php?page=player_options shows the most recently created/updated profiles.

The "All Characters" pull down lets you view any character's profile. Think of this like the read-only mode.

The "My Characters" pull down lets you view your characters once they've been registered, and this also gives you the ability to see more information and modify the biographies. Think of this as th write mode.

How do I make it easier to use?

Any way to make the overview of recently created chars clickable? Or for that matter, the names on the statistics page? (though that's probably much trickier to do, being in another section.)

Other than that, I'd emphasize the "Select an option from the left" a little more, and add an option perhaps to get back to the overview. I know it's in the main menu, but it wouldn't hurt, I think.

On top of the "Private" Field - a "DM only" Field might be a good idea as well - for info you think DMs should know, but don't want publicly known.

Been thinking about redoing Eira's Bio recently, got a lot of info to stick up and I'd been wondering how to do the DM relevant stuff.. Now I have no excuse!

Yes, eventually you will be able to add links to your character profile. And you will be able to link to it.

Private bio is for DMs only. I've modified the text to reflect that.

Updates

• Improved the look of the Player Options page
• Characters listed on the Player Options page now link to their respective character profiles.
• Bug fixed with the display of creation dates on the Player Options page.
• Users can now link to their character profiles by clicking on the link button next to their character name. This action will copy a URL to their clipboard, which can be shared with others.
• Added gold (on-hand), gold (bank), and net worth fields to the registered character profile.
• Added collapsible sections for summary and bio, as the page will soon have A LOT more information.

I assume we'll be keeping the wiki bios at least until this feature of the site is fully fleshed out. Right now the wiki has the 'My Characters' page beat in terms of customization. It's like comparing Word to Notepad.

Also, I found out that the 'My Characters' page doesn't have support for special characters. So I can't spell Selûne right, because then it cuts off everything after and including the û. Yes, as a matter of fact, I am picky.

Doesn't work for me either... Also, it seems that it's not updated enough. Today is July 27 and it shows the last login for my character was July 23 when I logged in for the last 3 days/nights.

Good idea tho.

Read news page, webstats/player options down due to database failure. I have a backup but at the moment it's for the main server. I will be purchasing a new one soon.

Otherwise all the data would be up to date up to the minute.
