    How patient should I be?
    It doesnt appear to be alive, and its more than ten hours now.

      I would recommend reinstalling .NET 3.5 again even if you think you have it already.
      The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.

          The new updater under downloads is self updating and will automatically install .NET 3.5 ... refer to the new thread for further discussion.
