Had a good look now and am very impressed with the wizard spells. Things like the teleport spells, dimension door and locate creature makes wizards more...wizardly.

Oh and any update that contains a spell called 'Necrotic skull bomb' is a winner in my book!

Edit: Just noticed that the last line of the description for Call Nightmare is You cannot ride the horse,which is followed by Cruel Disappointment. Well it made me laugh...

Yeah that spell list is incredible, just as I had finally decided the kind of character I was going to put all my time into (I've been trying a lot of different types over the last month or so), you bring out this content update that is going to happen before the end of the month lol. I've already begun working the kinks out of a gnome illusionist, I think it will be very fun. I just hope too many people don't turn in to spell casters and have it feel flooded but other then that, this content update looks amazing.

I think the new spells and feats are very interesting and will bring some coolness to the server; however, everybody is going to be a spellcaster now because of some of the uber spells.

I would also look to creating some tougher areas. Man, some of the buffs the the mages and clerics can give to other people and also give to themselves will just make them much more tough to kill, IMO.

The real only problem I have with this is everyone will play a spellcaster now, instead of some of the other cool classes.

When I looked at the list and saw that I would be able to make someone think that their skin was rotting away and their organs were pouring out of there body.... sign me up. Although I don't know what you mean about the uber powerful spells, most of them looked pretty balanced to me with the exception of one or two, some of the dragon armor skin type spells that are level 5 I think, seem a little bit too good for level 5, maybe a 6 in my opinion, but for the most part I think they look pretty balanced. We'll find out for sure when they get added and tested by us all.

The problem isn't so much that the spells are overpowered, but that they are so attractive to players, that everyone is going to want to play a spellcaster. There is probably going to be a rapid increase in their appearance throughout the server, and Fighters are still gonna be standing there saying "Fuck me", holding their little metal sticks.

I'm still going to use my fighter. Go ahead and use you new fancy spells. Igneous doesn't need them.

On the other hand..... Puck gets to have some more fun now it seems. Look at all the new fun Bard skills!

Unless something was changed RDDs dont get wings in nwn 2 so I doubt they will be given the ability to fly.
