A little information on Sundren's Technologies

Dear Sundren Staff...

Sorry if this is a dumb question (And my previous question falls into this category as well), but are there a list of factions? Do we have to RP with a DM to get into a faction, or is there some NPC that we need to speak to? Do we need to fill out some kind of application, or post about how we get into this faction? My character is not a native of Sundren and am assuming would need to have an encounter to join a faction. Please advise how we go about doing all this. Thanks!
