Let me propose this before I go off to take another class, since I've remained neutral for the most part:

The reason you're getting flamed is because you didn't 'propose' any good points. You whined, you tried to act heroic as though you were standing up to the big, bad administrators, and never really did anything constructive. If you can't see this, too bad.

Post a real suggestion next time.

Also, being a DM and building a world, either for PnP or for NWN2, is grueling often thankless work. As a DM hears more complaints than he hears "thank yous" for their efforts.

I therefore hijack this thread. This is now a "Thank you for making Sundren" thread.
Which goblin post? I got a bad memory today... *Rubs his head*

        Though to Godbeast-
My problem with the XP script is simple; it sorta kills the 8-16 hour Sundren sessions I've been putting in the last few days. 23 XP per ghost makes me sad. >_<*scratches head* (Mind you; I really don't have anything better to do)

And I have to say though; Alexander still can't walk straight after the last smiting m'lord; and the Mummy Lord don't help.
That's so you don't accidentally hit 20 in a week. I know you didn't want to on purpose, so I just helped you out

Well, if you slaved over a hot stove all night, burned your fingers a few times, put out candles and such, set a plate in front of your partner finally after the hours of work. And they bite into it and go "It's *OKAY* I guess" I think people have been murdered for doing just that. And that's with people who love each other, we don't even know Forlorn that well and he insulted us, yes, "Up yours" is a very all encompassing reply for that.

Well since you are a veteran you will eventually find a world that suits you, but this is by far the best I have ever come across personally for three main reasons: quality of players, dms, and area design.
Makira summed it up very well for me. Sure there are bugs but so what, its a freakin game people, try not to lose sight of that fact.
I cant help think about the future. If the server's RP (I say RP because thats the main thing to me) and atmosphere are this good and its only beta. What the heck is it going to be like when its released in its full version?!
You know what might solve the issue? Take out all the stupid static spawns and let the dms handle what we fight exclusively. That would be one way for the Devs to fix a good part of the argument swiftly and decisively.
Afterall if nothing spawns unless a dm is around then there's nothing to complain about.

Devs; Don't let a couple of posts that contain unconstructive criticism get you down. Some of us realize the work involved and the hours upon hours you spend doing it.

You know what stands out in my mind with the OP? He put in "From a veteran". Which made it seem like he is somehow more qualified to give an opinion than anyone else who could possibly post. Just thought I'd add that to the pile.

I don't think there's any point for me to respond to the initial post since you all did so well. I just want to say I hope the staff of Sundren is already building their 15 layers of Barkskin so they can ignore "suggestions" like this and have fun building this great world we all love to play in.

                That is all.

Alright, I think that this thread is completed.

OP, thank you for your suggestions <_< >_>
