I was told it took about a week for it to creep up by one.

After about level 7-8 the level cap doesn't matter. Or rather, it advances faster than anyone except a pure grinder can level. So be patient. The cap is there to encourage low level characters to roleplay outside of combat a bit.Dalian - Shapeshifter of the Tuatha Dé Dúlra

I've been playing nwn2 for 4 days straight just about. going out of my mind because of that cap...i just want lvl 6.....get my natural spell feat so i can actually tank as a bear rather than have to sit there and heal my companion.Comment

Well, it IS a role play, low-XP server.
I personally appreciate my levels all the more because it took me 6 months to get them all

its not the powergaming its the i want my god damn natural spell feat >.< it is such a pain in the ass to have to u-shape shift to heal myself or my bear when i only get one shape shift. omg its horrible i want to get in there and be like RWAR but NOOOO i get hit and im like...fuck...time to heal....ah well.

Rugabug, my Lieren just got access to level 6. Your character should have access to it fairly soon too. The wait didn't feel so bad to me.
What you get on level 6, amongst other thing, is the newbie rest rules no longer applying to you. Level 5 was kinder to you than you realize. What's more, Natural Spell is a bit flawed: every server save, your druid will end up briefly shifting back to his original form for an eyeblink - making Natural Spell's benefits stop functioning.Maia Nanethiel ~ Moon Elf Female Ranger

Lol, if levels were a priority I would be level 10 by now, 5 from the natural cap!
Peligir of Easthaven is a level 5 ranger/ 1 Darkstalker and his cap is level 10 at the moment. Ill never match my XP cap, I dont even find it compelling to try... I like him regardless *shrugs* just my two stags!Originally posted by roguethreeComment
