...I like my warlock in Sundren better than my WoW warlock... But I miss the companion (be nice to have an imp/shadow/etc familiar for warlocks)

    Maleficus "Ravenor" Carnificis
"Dreams... such fertile ground for the seeds of torment. I can sense your ripeness and, oddly enough, it is time for the harvest. Please, save your tears... I intend to reap your sorrow slowly and have ages to discover the things that make you suffer... I am eager to revel in the sweet melody of your screams and the melancholy of your despair..."
    Eldraxus Tzyvioq
Mystic Theurge (and Harper) of Deneir wandering the Sundered Valley in search of (and with the intention of mapping out) places of power, ley-line intersections, and other locations where the divine and arcane intersect...

Say what you will, but I still have a soft spot in my heart for WoW.

Well, I think Sundren is a great NWN2 server; great multiplayer; and great roleplaying...

But honestly I still think that WOW with a good RPing/raiding guild still just is amazing. I think both excel at their genre's; but I'm betting you at the end of the day I played WOW more than I ever could possibly play sundren. >_<

And for those wondering how long that is- it's just over 15 days.

WoW is a disease. I hate that game.
The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.

            Never ever touched WoW.
PC - Corwin Eska'las (Sun Elf pursuing the dream of becoming a Bladesinger)

Alt PC - Brevin Smoothands (meticulously groomed half orc bard swashbuckler... sort of... sings great, less fighting)

I co-ran an RP guild on an RP-PvP server and it was dissolved so that my trusted officers could join an elitest raiding guild. My guild was disolved as a result! It is damn near impossible to truly enjoy RP in an invironment that is not conducive to it. There is no authority governing player naming and behavior and their Terms of Conduct for RP servers snubbed by the overwhealming population of elitists.

...In the end all that was there for me was the gear grind.

Just 15 days? I think my total accumulated playing hours were around a month's worth.

I agree completely, especially the points about both exceling at their genres and the fun of being in a good guild in WoW. I think the thing I miss the most about WoW was the guild chat and all the banter I had with friends there.

I tried the trial some time ago...wanting to see what all the fuzz was about. I didn't get it.

14: Sundren has people. WoW has just blizzard's insanely advanced bots, trying to convince you that they really DO have that many subscribers.

I hate MMORPGs, but I've played 900 hours of Guild Wars.

                      Never again.

Also, the instances thing was crazy.. how can there be 100 different UBRS? You meet somone at the exit, and your like, oh i just got out of there... and the persons like, "so did I..." Now why the hell didnt you two see each other? Im not sure if its the same in RP server, but when i played in PVP, it was like that..

                            WoW

I played a mage up to lvl 49 in WoW and realized it was all the same - just dressed up differently every few levels. I got bored and stopped playing it. The game itself was fun enough I guess, for what it was: fairly mindless hack and slash fun.

I bear it no grudge nor affection.

It's supposed to be like that. -.-

It's so each group can clear out each dungeon without waiting for a global respawn- and you also don't have different parties kill you or stealing your kills. -.-

16: The game isnt full of female nightelves running around half-naked with armor that barely covers them.
