I still can't figure out why anyone would put that in the negative column.

"Men fear thought as they fear nothing else on earth -- more than ruin -- more even than death.... Thought is subversive and revolutionary, destructive and terrible, thought is merciless to privilege, established institutions, and comfortable habit. Thought looks into the pit of hell and is not afraid. Thought is great and swift and free, the light of the world, and the chief glory of man."

I don't want to play WoW, after Diablo2 I'm way too afraid it will consume my soul again. Very addicting games
Fret and fear, for Europe is near.

They had RP in WoW? <.< When did this happen?

Played that game for like.. 2 and a half years (ultimately got banned cause I hate the game and yelled at a GM) and every "RP" server I went on it seemed like the same as any other pvp or normal server. People running around with underwear on their heads screaming "Who wants to raid UBRS!!!" or "Wts Staff of the Whale for 10000 gold!!". The only thing I miss about that game is tricking the gold farmers into thinking I was actually gonna buy gold from them.

WoW is a waste of time. Glad I never played it.

(just waiting for the WoW fans to flame me - in good humor I hope though )

Never did the WoW, tried Asheron's call a ways back and Ultima Online, got tired of them very quickly. This type of PW is much better!

Well, just because you all bring up so many(good) arguments against WoW, I am going to highlight some good parts of it. (the ones I fell for, that is..)

Since I played the Warcraft games, I do like the World of Warcraft fantasy. It's a mixture of seriousness and humour! For example, I love the way they invented the trolls with their accent and the taurens with their spiritual but still primitive way of living. Also, the characters are all animated in a type of cartoonish way. Something which I really haven't seen anywhere else. When you get to know the right people, there IS infact roleplay. And it is often very amusing.

That's about what I had to say. But even with all these sunshines of the game, it still doesn't beat any of the Neverwinter Night games in roleplay.
(I wrote this so that you have something to throw crap at! )

So to the point you all have been waiting for when reading this!

17: Sundren isn't full of wannabe evil fallen paladins. (yet)
I really hate WoW for this. Everyone wants to follow Arthas' footsteps. But they only make fools out of themselves.. and him!

I always liked Everquest better than WoW. My first experiance in EQ(the original) was killing rats which reminded me of my very first PnP experience where my DM started us off with a rusty sword and 3cp.

I like Sundren better than my EQ days because I don't feel pressure to level and loot, and I've been able to use my head for a quest.
