Sundarian 'Celebrities'

What celebrities HAVE appeared in Sundren? I wonder how many DMs play them out. I know we all hate Drizzt, so please god not him, but another character of import would be a fun experience.

Actually the fun thing is that most likely NPC to enter in Sundren would be Drizzt or Wulfgar because they are the only ones who wander about so far in the north.

When I used to play in an old NWN1 server, they used a whole group of legendary NPC's there, but it was also centered around Dalelands which certainly have a bunch of them.
I think it was kinda fun addition to the game to see Elminster sitting in a tavern and observe those present to figure out the possible new heroes/villains of the lands.

Just one time I was greatly dissappointed when a certain very bad DM spawned the avatar of Talos in the city to have the god himself tell "I need your help"...

But yeah, perhaps there could be some NPCs that could be included in Sundren.

You know what happened to Keldorn in my BG2 campaign?
Well, first of all, he tried to kill my sweet Viconia. And you know what happened? Keldorn was polimorphed on a squirrel and we killed him! MUAHAHAHAHHAAHAHA!

Well, I have to start posting sooner or later so I will make this sensitive subject my first. Originality is not a gift possessed by the masses but since the fantasy worlds draw our type here we can assume that most of us have some imagination. I too wish they would use it because Elminster has been an almost sacred name to me since I began RPG in the barracks in 1990. If I see him or others in character I want it to be an NPC or a DM sending me off to die on some futile quest to save the world and somehow myself along with it. Thanks.

I'm pretty sure he was the avatar of Paladin (the god of good).... not sure if they ever came out and said that but it was pretty clear from the book. (My dad read the triology to my brother and I when we were kids... like the worlds longest fairy tale)

he was also in the death gate cycle.. A very fun to read 7 book series. read em all at least twice because im an insomniac and i never had anything better to do at night. i would recomend them

Oh and btw i will confess to having a char named Xzar but it was a typo supposed to be Xar from the deathgate cycle (which would still be stealing a name because i am an unimaginative person).
