I have had this problem too, it is indeed very annoying. Switching to that RAD sound option seems to make it stable, as i don't crash nearly as often, but the sound sometimes bugs out, and i cannot hear any sounds except the background music. I had did the full .20 client update originally, and that didn't help crashing at all.Comment

And for an opposite point of view from many, it seems, I have never had a crash on transition, and I did the upgrade from 019, not the full.

FYI, I logged on, I believe, over 10 times yesterday. I played 3 of those times. The rest were loading and crashing. It has become very frustrating when you're RPing with some, and have to spend 10 minutes trying to log in after a crash to continue.

Make sure you tell Obsidian how you feel about their game crashing all the time online.
The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.

Would you believe they pushed off this issue to 1.06? They really needed to put it in 1.05. Half the forums are complaints of people crashing.
I personally blame their UDP packetting system. How archaic can you be?Comment
