I guess I was wrong about the xp loss during PVP, but it doesn't matter. If you go into a conflict or bad mouth someone, you need to go into it fully knowing that you may win or lose and the consequences of that action, IMO.

But, he took Improved Fail for his 9th level feat, so I suppose it's all working as designed.

I'm waiting on approval for my character (and hopeful it arrives prior to the Feast tonight, which strikes me as a good place to introduce a new character; though I suppose if declined he would work as a human). I anticipate a few key friendships with people more morally centered than he is to be one of the keys to holding him together and preventing him from sinking into vileness, ala Doc, per my favorite exchnage in the flick:

Turkey Creek Jack Johnson: Why you doin' this, Doc?
Doc Holliday: Because Wyatt Earp is my friend.
Turkey Creek Jack Johnson: Friend? Hell, I got lots of friends.
Doc Holliday: ...I don't.
