Where the heck are they? my character gotrek gurnisson has been thrown out of probably 5 dm events now because hes a evil character... I havent seen anybody role play anything remotly evil other then that vampire.. sylloven. Where's all these mysterious followers of bane and cyric and talos and all the other evil gods?

We kinda need a DM who is more into making 'Evil Events' also.

I agree. There is not enough evil out there. My character isn't evil, but is chaotic neutral, so she gets to see both sides of the struggle.

You are obviously not looking hard enough. I can think of five evil characters off the top of my head, and those are just the ones I as a neutral/boardering on good character know about. They are just being evil and sensible rather than evil and stupid.

Well ok, maybe not Syloven but she has the back up. Evil characters really need to find each other and establish a common goal to survive. The problem being that there are no player led guilds allowed on sundren which means that the staff are going to have to take the lead on this one as without the back up of others evil characters can't survive.

Evil is there. It's just that if an evil character were to act as Satoshi says, they would die.

You do not rear your evil head. You keep it to petty, minor things - like threatening other people, being mean, etc. Then you work behind the scenes, because, again, if you don't, you die. I've seen it many times on Sundren. Sundren is a server that tends towards the good guys as far as power goes, which makes it difficult to play an outright evil person. You have to be wily, and/or quiet about it.

Just leave it unstated. Don't go around murdering people, and stuff.

Hmmm ... so what you are saying is if you are playing say an evil bastard necromancer you should start killing small children and making undead hordes? I think life expectancy would be short... Now if you were to build your power base ... and gather followers.... hmmmm sounds like a bit harder to oppose...

I'm not saying evil should be stupid - I'll be the first to tell you that evil is smart, organized, and ruthless simply to get it's claws where it can. And, unlike Good forces who tend to even begrudgingly work together, several of the various evil forces hate each other as much as they hate the good guys. What I am saying is that murderers and assassins can be careful, successfully kill targets (religiously opposed, personal vendetta, or simply for money), and get away without anyone being the wiser. A tyrannical bully can extort money from travelers crossing 'his bridge' as long as he cannot be identified and caught.

Blending into a crowd with a clever smile and honey words is nice, and all - but after living the lie for a period of time, you become the lie. Beware of your 'evil' character bcoming just another anti-hero, because you might just be disappointed. Or, you might not. I just see 'evil lite' as it is. :P

Ok, well I have robbed demanded some money from a few people. I was just saying like I see everyday just about 3 different dm events for the good guys... Us evil people show up and I get the *please escort the dwarf away* or *eyes light up and threatens you to move away* *toss the dwarf out the door now!* Im not out there murdering babys and raping halfling girls you know? I just want the forces of evil to maybe work together for the greeter evil. But Its been said a few times that there is just no leadership and everybodys lurking in the shadows afraid of hans summers *hahahaha*

I just have to laugh because I see players complaining about evil all the time and now someone is saying there isn't enough? Man this stuff is amusing.
