  • What do you think is the most unused weapon in Sundren?

I've been wondering, what is it that people rarely use as a weapon? I see alot of kinds of weapons, but there is one ive never ever seen used in ANY Persistant World.

That is the club. No one uses it, really , who wants an ugly stick to whack people with? Answer: No one.

Andal's used a club before, but quickly switched it for a scimitar. Clubs are uglyyy

I think staves are underused - people carry them only for decoration. somebody should make a staff weaponmaster!

A weaponmaster with a weapon of choice club would certainly be unique.
The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.

YEah, lots of people carry staffs, but they're hardly used. And as for weapon masters, all of them go Scythe >_>, or atleast alot. A kama weapon master would be cool!

For rogues i like the club, its a classic thug weapon, and id like to see more city watch types use it.

In my experience the scythe is the least used, in my opinion it sucks, and as a real weapon it would be rubbish.. unless fighting undead-mutant-corn.

Hardly ever see darts used, apart from a few low level halflings and maybe the odd monk.

Whip... in nwn1 anyway, apart from the odd drow matron wanna-be, and we slaughter them on sight dont we

Actually it would be useless against undead corn as the sycthe is only effective when it criticals which won't work on undead.

Those Acid Darts are amazing! (Had a character who specialised in dart-using)

                      useless...

Dashmin has been using acid darts and a Sling of Might for some time. The darts really rock when sneak attacking. I initial bought the sling for flavor, but ended up liking it once I started findinf Fire Rocks.

I would have to say I never see anyone using a flail. I love the flail, but I am not willing to take a feat just to use it.

Havent seen anyone use daggers really. Clubs the same. Its to bad you cant go weapon master fists, would be neet for some monks since they are both about Ki.

As for scythe weapon masters, they used to be big in nwn1. Yet to see any in nwn2 It just makes 0 sence to me why a warrior would train to master a farming tool.

Im hopeing MoTB has whips, go go Lovitiar!

Why a fighter would train with a scythe? Because it has a 4x crit, DUR! But yeah, scythes seem stupid and overpowered anyways . I'm sure our little hins use daggers, they just look like shortswords to us O_o.

Scythes are fairly useless, everyone goes on about how they're this gloom and doom weapon, but the only thing statistically speaking that makes them dangerous is their critical multiplier... but you have to get a critical for it to be dangerous. And on things like undead a scythe is almost useless.
