    (See skullcleavers).
After coming back I saw this group right away. They seem to have it working better then most of the other factions as they are DM run (on the whole) and with a shortage of DM's right now its difficult for factions to expand. If you've always wanted a faction, I'd say it would be worth starting one

hmms...this an old post Saulus...from the time right after GodbeastX hosted the mod and ran the server for several months. I would think you would rember that since you took down this website and posted that it was not a friendly transition. During that time a druid circle formed that was going pretty good...but all that history was removed when Sundren came back. But I guess you could say that was not really Sundren so it wasnt really a "switch"

I wont post anymore about it, was kind of a dark time for Sundren I was just shocked to see a post Ithil started. I still have some good memories of Sundren and check back here ever so often.
      Active Characters:
Tassafina Lightleaf - A little sneaky but not as sneaky as Ithil

      Silivren Anar
      Merka Gillina

      Hideing outs:
Alyssa Swiftwing - Priestess of Yondalla
      Ravenne Naur'Loki - Roar!

        This is Sundren -- http://www.sundren.org/forum/showthread.php?t=9925

Not going to find that kind of stuff anywhere else but here.

Righty then, I have a list of 6 druids including myself that I have met in game. I'll try and figure out how to contact all of you and get some kind of official 'In or Out' response from you all.

Anyone who is a definite IN, give me a PM or something and I'll look to go badger these DM folk about how we get our own forum area and such up and running and then we can all meet in game and have druidic council type get togethers and winge and moan about the expanding towns and cities and how the forest is shrinking bladdy blaaa...

Maybe we could all go on a big druid road trip all wildshaped into horses!!! Super!

P.S. Does anybody know what the GSID's and Forum username of the player who play the druid, Salle Querok (Female, Gnome)

I've spoken to a good few of you now and it seems there used to be something going on with druids but it died off.

No one has come forwards to say that any part of it is still operational or even existant and so I think those of us who are druids now, will be forming our own Circle.

Essentially this is a player faction / player organised group.

We are merely a group of druids coming together in the Viridale forest druid grove with the intention of forming council over the well being of the regions wilds.

This is NOT a DM faction, but to be honest, we have a Grove, we have Druid NPC's, we have animal guardian spirits and if, as a group, we are affecting RP and plots on the server, in time, we are bound to attract DM attention.

The only requirement to be part of this Player group is to be a Druid and to be a druid that has the well being of the Sundren wilds at heart.

This would probably mean that certain druid builds would not be suitable for this group. I.E. Malarite, people of the black blood cult, who would more likely be a non-glade bound and nomadic hunting pack who worried less about the trees and grass and worry more about tropies and kills.

            There may be others to.

This does not neccessarily mean all malarites would be unsuitable. I have met Malarite druids that operated in a way, very harmonious with nature and still adhered stringently to malar's ideals. They were part of a druid circle on another NWN1 player world I used to play on and fitted right in with all the silvanians and chaunteans.

Characters that would make good affiliates of this group, although not allowed to be part of the circle itself, would include, rangers of a nature loving type, possibly barbarian's of a wildsman type build or other followers of a nature deity, especially nature deity clerics ...or divine champions?

If such characters wanted to form groups of their own based in the grove, the ranger lookout or somewhere else suitable then that would be awsome. We could work very closely/in harmony with such PCs.

The circle of druids will be just druids though. I don't think anyone would dissagree with this would they?

If all are in agreement I would like to add our group to the Social Groups list accessable via your public profile page. I was thinking to make it 'invitation only' membership and as such, new druids would have to find the grove and meet one of us to become invited to the group/circle, both IC and OOC.

            Again, any objections?

I was thinking to call it: The Viridale Forest Druid Circle

If you have a Circle and intend to build a druidic hiearchy, you might want to draw example from the dwarves and try to establish an hierarchy. Namely, establishing whom the novices and initiates are, which are the twelve druids and who is the Archdruid.

Druids are competitive, so, in this fashion, you'll foster more support for the class that way (thus encouraging the generation of new druid characters to be 'part of the fun'), and also encourage politicking and activity within your own faction. It's a sadly overlooked aspect of the druidic community.

A Circle, being governed by an Archdruid, would span more than simply the Viridale Forest, though it can certainly base itself in the existant druid grove. However, if you're going for a name, it might be better to use Circle of the Sundered Valley. Most nature folk actually refer to the region that way and your activities aren't restricted to the forest too, so it may be a better choice.

                Name sounds good,

Issue with the heirarchy thing, (other than sounding like a sharran cell...! ) this is early days, I'm sure a 'natural' heirarchy will establish itself but it's hard to tell who will be online the most, who will become the most powerful druid of the circle, if we'll even end up with 12 PC members? There are druids in the grove that are NPC's and have been about likely longer than any of the newbie PC druids.

We couldn't just go ahead and say that we are 'the' circle and establish an arch druid that is e.g. level 6-10 druid, when there may be NPC's far more superior and wiser and much more established at this point in time.

At the moment this is just 'a group', a group of more adventurous druids existing within the grove and which will likely be members of the regional circle.

I think the best bet is to get the OOC side of things set up first, create a social group and get a list of members. Once we have a group, we shall have a little commune with someone on the DM team and see what the state of play is with regards to the already existing NPC's in the grove and how we can fit in in game.

Check your Private messeges. I made the social group page for us and all you need to do is go to the social groups page and accept the invite you have all been sent.

                    Then we are a group.

I've also sent friends invites and only 2 of you want to be my friend I'm feeling very hurt right now.

I was wondering if someone might be able to answer a quick question about the "Guardian of the Grove" requirement to take a druid PrC.

I'm guessing it's an in-game accomplishment. Is it also a feat?

I do not think it is a feat. I think it is a title and must be given to you by a DM.
