Disagreed! One of the perks of being a wizard is being able to invis/ethereal past certain situations. While it is not the bravest move, and costs you potential xp and loot, it does not prevent other people from getting the flag so I do not see how it harms anyone. DM's feel free to shame me if there is a rule against it (I don't do many flag runs and when I do I prefer kill everything I see for coin and ego) but I see it as a very different subject then running around looting all the chests in a dungeon while invis and preventing others from earning that stuff.

We will have to leave this to the DMs, but my understanding about flags are that they are rewards for completing a level appropriate dungeon or situation. In short, no challenge, no reward.
It isn't as if there is a shortage of cloth and these casters are great heroes in providing yet another bolt of fabric to clothe their faction.
While I understand that no one gets hurt in the materialistic sense, I would point out:
- It is the non-ethereals that get stuck cleaning up the spawns.
- It cheapens the experience.

The problem with ninja looting is the loot is not really setup because the creatures all have XYZ, it's set up because we want to reward people for the risks involved in dungeon crawling. So if people all go into a dungeon and someone ninja loots, it makes people not receive rewards we meant for the group.
Hence why people get notification when players receive loot. This was so people would not be able to hide the fact they took something off a corpse from their party.

The only place where notification doesn't occur is the Vault in Whurest and I think it would be nice if it was added back in. I am almost always the one to grab the vault key and the loot then let everyone know what was found. However sometimes I wonder if others feel you are being dishonest especially when the vault room has no magical items (which is quite rare).Originally posted by GodBeastX View PostThe problem with ninja looting is the loot is not really setup because the creatures all have XYZ, it's set up because we want to reward people for the risks involved in dungeon crawling.
