Well, so far it seems like a good server though I noticed several players are not very social. Is it normal for players here to keep to their own business?

There are circle of people who pretty much only roll with certain others. Though you will find most welcoming to group up with. Some might play like they are too good for you time but ignore them, its a game. If they take the game that seriously then they might need to rethink their lives. That is not a person you want to be around in the first place.

The crafting system where as it is a bit limited, it is quite rewarding too once you find all the right stuff you want/need for the upgrades you're going to put on an item. Again it may take some time but you'll be surprised at what you find even if they are considered rare gems.
