Class Review: Paladin

It goes Bard/blackguard and you can charm Dain with how evil and pretty you are. They may be immune to fear but they arnt immune to mind effecting spells (and besides as a bard your dispell magic trumps his protection from evil). You may keep him as your sex slave for cl*6 Seconds.

Not as much fun as he'd lead you to believe.

I'm on the bench on the whole CE/CG paladin thing... On one hand I don't believe paladins should ever be chaotic, but on the other I like the idea of some representation of chaotic aligned champions... Maybe if they were just called champions... Mmmm

I dunno, I kind of see the chaotic ones working as more of a diefic calling, rather than being members of a specific order.

I'd imagine that Champions of Freedom would be a royal pain in the butt for most people who encountered them and be strangely reminiscent of numerous Jack Black movies.

If the blackguard class was revamped and made to be even better, this would please me.

I thought that was the job of the Druid class?

I suspect the druids would have a lot more to say about noble classes concepts of land ownership and teaching the kids good habits such as recycling, respecting nature and minimizing urban sprawl. The druids might be big on things like responsibility in the context of the natural world, while.the champion of freedom knows that responsibility is a personal thing that is felt internally in the heart, not imposed by an external and abstract concept such as nature.

Also, the druids would be using mushrooms, not tabs.

As long as no one messes with my skelly bro I'm fine with whatever changes. But that guy's pretty dope, hell he's better company than most living people, at least he doesn't talk about how evil he is and such he just goes around killing things with me.
