Many of the spells in NWN2 (even more in DnD, but let's stick to the ones in-game), are really horrible to witness if you imagine it. I'm not just talking about summoning undead or demons: the list of spells that sound like they are straight out of a horror film are numerous.
Let's start with potentially the worst, Avasculate. This is a spell by which you forcibly rip a bunch of blood vessels from the target's body, thread them into organic rope, and strangle them with it.
Horrid Wilting is a fun one, particularly if it kills someone. It rapidly drains all the moisture out of opponent's bodies, turning them from fleshy meatbags to shriveled-up husks, instantly.
"Holy crap, that wizard is casting Horrid Wilting!"

I don't know about you, but I'd be nervous around someone who employed such magic without a second thought.
