This is just a question for the players, but I was curious as to what lore you folks would like to see expanded. Faction lore? Sundren History? Famous Personages? Something else? Post here and let me know.

I would really, really like to see something about Sundrens government other than "The arbiters..."

Is there a president? King? Are there governors? Can players get involved in politics? Etcetera,

    -

I think the nature factions lore is there, but the problem is nothing is done with them, but that is the case with many factions without players in them, I suppose.

    -

Sundrens government. Saying it again because it is sorely needed IMO.

A lot of the stuff you're talking about is actually detailed under Sundren Law. The Arbiters rule the nation of Sundren, with various go-betweens in place as to protect the Arbiters identities, such as the Stewards. The general Imperatu Verinus is in command of the Legion, and so has a large amount of power, but is loyal to the Arbiters and to Sundren.

The Exarchs are sort of the governors of each of the towns and the regions around the towns, except for Aquor (which could probably use some clarification).

Players getting involved with the Arbiters is probably not going to happen unless the PC is a highly ranked member of one of the governmental organizations, due to the secrecy of their station. Stewards are more likely to be contacted by PC's if they choose to do so.

Sent lore interest in a PM, since it kind of collides with a character/plot request I'm working on.
Running across the mountains, attacking with an oversized scalpel, cometh Helga Great-Wyrm! And she gives a mighty bellow:
"Brace yourself, oh human speck of dust! You are made of meat and I am very hungry!"

The Arbiters are supposed to meet once a month in a secret room adjoining the stewards and prominent Sundarian citizenry to discuss current events, hear requests, and so on. Would be cool if this actually happened once a month.

          And all of the above.

If it did happen, 90% of the server's population probably wouldn't be invited. But your point is taken.

Not everyone's supposed to be included in everything, but I think it would help the gubment seem like an actual entity rather than "Oh, the Arbiters."

Would like to know more about where the Blackwood are from, how the LaCroix and Hellstrom families rose to prominence, more about the Veritas intrigue, more about when the Triad actually came to Sundren (who led them, were they a multi-temple coalition or predominately from one area), how the Black Hand managed an amazing super volcano fortress in the two years they've been in the Valley (crazy magics and stuff; a cool story would help sell the power of the organization so random PCs don't say, "It's just Roman and Urlok, how come you haven't stopped them yet?")

An update in the lore of the fall of Kelemvor and the installment of Mrykul with the relationship to the Blackhand would be awesome.

My two cents: Sundren's current and future relations with nearby territories.

I remember seeing something that mentioned some troubles with Luskan, but is that all? Are there any nearby imperialistic territories trying to conquer Sundren?

Sundren is literally an island unto itself. The only ways in and out of the valley are the Gate of the Sunderer and the Port of Avanthyr (and even the port is guarded by treacherous reefs). It has trade going outwards and inwards through the Gate of the Sunderer and the Port, mostly with Mirabar and other northern nations.

The Luskan Blockade wasn't really resolved to my knowledge, but hopefully we'll get that tangled out soon. Keep the good suggestions coming, guys!

The Luskan blockade is deadzor. We were told to move forward as though it was resolved.

A recent post about the Mossdales Forgotten having 1600+ men has made me re-wonder whats the population of Sundren like. A quick search on google on the city of Neverwinter showed me they had a population of about 25,000 and about a standing army of 400 men. The whole of Sundren valley is made up of several cities/town outposts and such. I would like to know whats the population of cities/towns/outposts, the average number of men the sundren army has, as well as the number of men various organizations have(such as blackwood, triumvirate, etc).

Also more lore on notable npcs on such as harbingers, powerful beings, and such would be fun too.

Luskan Blockade dissolved, yes. We could probly provide some lore as to what happened. Good suggestion.

Population information and strategic importance values, some expanded faction lore about important people in the various locations and the places they inhabit (such as the Citadel, Arbiter's Stand, etc). Some clarification on what was ret-conned and what wasn't, since I was here before the server's history abruptly changed hands and direction. Pretty much everything everyone else has already said.
