I'd just like to know the status on the fields of sundren, are they or are they not blighted currently, I've heard mixed.

These are all things that we're going to define in the next few weeks, I hope. And the fields are not supposed to be blighted, I believe, as they were part of the Luskan plot.

It has trade going outwards and inwards through the Gate of the Sunderer and the Port, mostly with Mirabar and other northern nations.
There is a pass through the Spine of the World that according to the Exigo caravan master has been used for trade with the barbarian tribes of Icewind Dale, and possibly others.

Does this mean the pass is currently blocked, as it appears to be on-map?

The Luskan Blockade wasn't really resolved to my knowledge, but hopefully we'll get that tangled out soon. Keep the good suggestions coming, guys!
            Fixed that for you.

Wouldn't mind either a Wardens or public RP post about why the nature base is now flooded with Blackwood and the faction NPCs are attacking faction members. Don't care much about the vit and gold loss, I got more Vit than I need, but it'd be nice to know what's happened in the only faction I've any connection to.
Running across the mountains, attacking with an oversized scalpel, cometh Helga Great-Wyrm! And she gives a mighty bellow:
"Brace yourself, oh human speck of dust! You are made of meat and I am very hungry!"

Just wanted to bump this, as I'm feeling in a creative mood and I have no event requests tonight. I'll take a fresh look at the stuff already mentioned, but I'd love some more requests.

The responsibilities/limitations of the Hands of Mundus (and other faction members), maybe? I guess that's a pretty specific request, but it would be nice to see something in the Wiki besides (at least in the case of the Hands) "fully supported by the government in practically any endeavor" and "the best interests of Sundren", as that could be interpreted in many, many different ways (Left and Right separation aside). I'm certain the Council of Ten have a more specific idea in mind for their Initiates, and as fluid as that may be while some leaders are lost and others replace them, I'd love to get a feeling of the current pulse.

Hands pretty much run the show. Other than those of apprentice rank they have authority over Military, local agents, and more. Their legacy comes from Mundus himself.

Few hold office over them. The general, or other high ranking officials might be the only ones that have authority over them. However, a Hand isn't too concerned with petty or day to day situations. If they get involved it tends to be because something is extremely detrimental to Sundren.

I think you're getting exactly what the Hands do just fine. The Hands are the Sundren 'spooks' of the government, in that they can take control of most situations and act with the best interests in Sundren in mind (if they're so inclined).

The paragraph below the one you quoted is more specific, in that:

With a higher rank comes more responsibility in the Hands, and it is usually Magi or above who are able to order around the higher ranking officers in the Blades or Legion. An Initiate can usually order non officer soldiers without too much difficulty, unless in extreme circumstances.
The Hands are the inscrutable, unknowable agents of the government. While the Legion is more focused on military matters, the Hands handle internal threats, investigations, and things that the Legion's order-based hierarchy isn't flexible enough to handle.

Initiates are like rookie agents. They have the eventual potential to be an agent, but are considered too wet behind the ears to handle things by themselves, especially when faced with far more experienced officers in the Legion.

That actually explained quite a bit, thanks! For one, it confirmed my assumption that the Hands operate more like a "magic-knowledgeable secret police", rather than the standard "hurr durr staves, beards, and funny hats" mages' guild that somehow slipped in bed with the local government. Also, it marked Initiates as "agents in training" rather than "bumbling apprentices". Once again, thanks!
