Deity Question

I would like to ask about the Deity. I've found somewhere, that the good Lord Cyric should be an enemy of Bane, but here in the wiki is Bane described as one of the Cyric's allies. My question is what is the correct version? I need to know, because of the situation Lindi got herself into. If they are enemies, it can radically change the consequences of her latest meeting with the Bane guy. Thanks for answer.

Well according to the FR wiki, wich pulls from FR official sources Cyric hates Bane (and every other diety not named Cyric for that matter).

I dont really see where the sundren wiki contradicts this but I just glanced over the Cyric entry

Bane and Cyric are enemies. In this setting Bane is buddies with the other god of murder, Bhaal. I'm not sure of Bhaal's status but I want to say one of the DMs have a Bhaal/Bane following NPC running around. And that Bane, Bhaal, Myrkul, and others are listed as Cyric's aliases because he is the prince of lies and he'll often lie about which god he actually is. So its fully possible to have a Banite who worships Cyric or a Cyric follower who pretends to be of another faith. Its a whole lawful evil vs chaotic evil thing. Bane hates Cyric. I'm not sure where it says they are allies.

the sundren wiki says that Cyric is also known as bane (alias). I think Cyric liked jerking the strings of the followers of the dead gods Bane, Myrkrul and Bhaal.

IN traditional Forgotten Realms lore, they are enemies (not allies). They hate each other because they compete for the same portfolios. Cyric helped bring down Bane for awhile, but like all things, the WoC decided to bring Bane back via the Godson Xvim or some purple cheese.

For a while there was an up and coming Cyricist cult on the server. Most of us got around levels 10-14 from what I gather, though everyone left me hanging, most fled the server.

Actually speaking of madness, a college asked over email about a kid who had an imaginary friend, and if he/she was disturbed and some recommendations for therapy.

For levity, I replied a significant proportion of the pop has an imaginary friend called God, so i didn't see that there was a problem. I can only imagine the comment went down like a lead balloon as i didn't even receive a lol in reply :/

oh well, me and Cyric thought it was funny (but i only laugh if he does, and he takes credit for any joke). Actually any Chuck Norris is awesome saying could apply just substitute Cyric eg. here's one i made my self:

You people are to focused on the murdering aspect of Evil. There are other ways to be evil without being such hard asses. All it takes is a simple disregard for others and total devotion to yourself. Who needs to dirty they're hands with blood when greed is so much cleaner?
