Its a fair shout. I personally (unless someone gives me One shot and power critical longbow) am using throwing axes and a sheild which I can use fairly cheaply for more damage and better defense.

You remember correctly. When I bring a bard and someone with gmw along with my archer, good things happen.

Seriously - I had no idea GMW worked on bows, since MW doesn't. Why would one work and not the other? MW should be fixed in that case. imho
