I severely disagree with you Undeadsteak. I think most followers of the order would have lower strenght. 16 Str is incredible compared to average joe. The god doesn't give unnatural strength that hides into a stick figure body. Sorry to burst your bubble Most NPCs in orders will be around average joe status. PCs are the ones who generally break molds and rise above the crowd. Also, not all fighters need 18 str to be a fighter. That's more of a build reason than RP reason if you have it and try to fit in this undefined body mold.

Yes, your character -should- look muscle bound with 18 STR, nobody is going to force you to though. I didn't post those pics to start being harsh on players, it was more for awareness of what stats actually mean.

And personally, not those two women, but I think muscles are hawt on females

But there are fighters in the Order of the reddest rose or whatever. They will most likely have high str. IF they were that muscley, atleast for females, that would be considered ugly, and they would most likely get thrown out.

Then the question arises would that be considered ugly? One has to wonder.. it is a fantasy setting. That or are they dexterity based fighters. Then if they're NPCs they probally won't go over 16 strength.

          *Strokes chin*

(edit) Ehh.. no. Still nasty as hell. *Shudders and backs away from the computer screen*

Or, simply, their builds are more RP based and they dont pump every single point possible into strength... Wait... That's just a load of crap, Who wouldnt pump their prime stat? *gasp*

Alright, I'll confess another point. Body builders do weight lifting slightly differently to build mass and such instead of building strength. They also are flexing their bloody eyes out in those photos.

Look at arnold S. the governor in his suit, doesn't exactly look like he was conan

People do realize that being that muscular would actually look pretty grotesque on males too?

Personally I think some of the ponts given here are good. Having 18 or above in
STR should show and also would make it rather difficult to be agile like a cat.

Now when it comes to showing and so on, I say leave that up to the player. I find it a bit too heavy handed to say that you have to RP that the body is so and so.

My character has AGI of 14 (I think it was, can't remember) and STR of 16 (at lvl 5). I actually RP him as a bit clumsy in certain situations. Remember not everything is decided by how agile you are. How you bow for instance is just as much charisma if you ask me

Regarding the STR I described him as "muscular and trained" if I remember correctly. At my level most STR fighters would have such a strength, if not higher. According to the list on the start of the thread, he wouldn't be muscular, but a bloody He-man

So to conclude, why can't we just say drop the thinking that everyone has to be so realistic, but ALSO stop making their characters ballet dancers and next-gen He-men?

And if you look in my eyes, in time you'll find,
                        The reason I'm here.

Oh I vote for NOT allowing pictures of female body builders on the site ever again. My mind is still in shock from that!

To make it politically correct I also vote that pics of male body builders should not be shown Both look quite nasty! *shudders*

Entirely true, however, men are really stronger before looking grotesquely muscular. Disgustingly muscular male body builders are a lot stronger than disgustingly muscular female bodybuilders, exactly how much I am unsure of. For the most part the only characters that strong are half orcs, whom are ugly anyways. And then there is the occasional wood elf, though, wood elves are built for that as well.

Either way, this is page 5, wheres the quote of the hideous body builders?
