okay i'm a bit bored i wish i could connect with windows. on to post 4! :/

so you think people should hang out alone... in a dangerous area.... with no witenesses around, just so people can enact "nefarious plots" upon them???

how many people do you know that hang out in a public places where; a) there are not by standards. b) there is a good chance of getting ganked c) there are not other people.

again we are social creatures.... and what's that you say? why yes, yes i am beating this dead horse. why do you ask? im bored *shrug*

You fail to see my point, and you take that nefarious plot comment out of context, everyone who has played an evil character can agree that when your trying to do something, it's rather difficult when players refuse to leave area's of refuge. Hell's I know I have suffered through it before, waiting for an hour or so then falling asleep due to the dull and dreary campfire effect.

I don't know, and frankly it doesn't matter. I just voiced my opinion and placed a constructive suggestion, as did other players. That being said, I would also love to see more people hang out by Inn's, taverns and the like.

I like Peridan's idea of a Map point for an Inn with a merchant.

Could be something near the crossroads... the "Wayside Inn" - or something
Annaleen Wiltenholm-There's always something to smile about.
Chani Kalera- Intimidation is the new diplomacy. *looms*
Eleanor "Bloody Elle" Lark - Why is the rum always gone?
Yolanda Brown - If life gives you lemons, make lemonade. But unless life also gives you water and sugar, your lemonade is going to suck.
        Astrid Hammerhand - Och!

Rather than having folk porting directly into an inns interior from the world map I'd quite like to see an inn with a beer garden.

A few scuplted bushes, a few trees and a tent or two for when the rain hits and a couple of braziers for warmth would give a broad mix of people a place to meet and RP - For the nature types it'd mean they wouldn't have to be lurking inside a warm and enclosed space but with all the socialness of an inn.

With NPC bar patrons and staff DMs would have the normal 'overheard conversation' plot hooks, plus the added bonus of being able to have things happen outside the beer garden that might catch people's attention.
            Eira Skald - Icy bitch.
Karsten Mannerheim - Idealist and murderer.
Vincent Hopkins - Witch Hunter and man of faith.
Aedan Gilter - Dreamer of broken dreams.
Henry L. Jones - Oh god, I can see forever.

                anks,

i have an evil character... i find that there are many things to do other than plot nefariously and stalk other pcs.

that said i agree with you that the "carebearing" as PL calls it has got to go!

but come on, there has got to be a thousand ways to get players out of the big cum-bi-ya. they all involve taking initiative.

so if big groups around campfires bother you... take that initiative and get them moving. if they still don't move then it's time to move on to the next player or plot.

There is many ways to go about doing evil things and communication OOC is a good idea. One of my favorite evil act was on a whim which created alot of rp. Started with a Tell to one player then a domination spell you fill the rest....

Care-bear rp usually results with players waiting for something or just wanting interaction. If that is the case a tell asking to involve them in something would probably be great.

Drawing someone from an area to else were is pretty easy, A runner could give them something, or a familair could give them something. Perhaps a spell informs them something.

Outside bar is an excellent idea, though not nessary with the find folk button.

i think you are absolutely right pov. and to add i believe that the best pvp always involves tw/more consenting parties... though not required by this server (and there are very good reasons for this) a little tell is all that is needed.

as for domination, charm person, gease... so much fun to be had. zemlock was working on a list of non combat type spells like this. i hope these are included.

                    great post pov.

Well one evil deed I always wished to have done is steal a baby and tatoo it then return it. Just so the parent knows its marked, only to take it again later and return it say 10-15 years later after raising it and twisted it in the charactors image.

Communicating with others helps remove issues before they become them as well.

Perhaps I should have an evil plot topic posted

As for suggestions I would like a desert area with a dirt fighting pit, and a seedy bar.
