I almost clicked it too whilst walking around, and now live in constant fear of deleting my beloved characters. How often is a person going to want to delete his character? I mean sure, it does happen, but IMHO not on a regular basis enough to put it on the GUI.

    Just my two cents...

Actually, I think that the button would make a great subdual mode toggle, which is something that people are using a lot these days. I really think that leaving character deletion on the drop-down menu, so that there can be no mistakes, is a good idea.

Regardless, the new GUI is great. ^^

I understand what you're saying, but all the same... how many people are going to actually accidentally click the skull icon, then click Yes to delete their character in the centre of their screen. (And then forgot they did it for a month so I don't have a backup of it).

You're honestly living in fear that you'll click both of those buttons accidentally? That's a little scary.

Let's not make this a dead horse issue guys

My one concern, which is worth testing, is clicking on the skull and then pressing ENTER on accident. If the Yes button is active, that's a little more feasable in terms of accidents. I'll check it out tonight.

Pressing Enter opens chat, it does not activate the Yes button.

I've counted 3 times Saulus has posted in this thread. Thats enough for me to know its going to be around for a while. We appreciate your input though. If anyone needs a more personal explanation, PM me.

The thing that most players don't know about is how many people we get that don't know they can delete their characters, the point of the Sundren UI is having one major accessible place that has all of our extra built-in functionality.

The extra window asking to confirm the delete was put in there so that you don't have to be paranoid. Even if you did delete it, every character has an exact duplicate stored with them as a bak file, you go post a help request, and I restore it. Lesson learned.
