Event in question

Heh, i remember when Sat spawned a bloodmaim scout a lkong time ago before i suddenly had to go. Andal was fighting him and I was afk, i saw the chat log though.. He got owned i believe . Ah he was like, what, 14 or 15? O_o.

Ok, that explains it. I joined the battle late, and I guess I missed the warnings to retreat. I just arrived and saw maybe 10-12 PCs surrounding orcs attacking them, so naturally I leaped into the fray like any good warrior.

So I take it those orcs were not meant to be beaten, thats understandable. I'm not saying that there shouldn't be things we can't beat. There are always things that are going to be more powerful than my characters. (i.e. other players, NPCs, DMs)

I only got frustrated because I had learned from previous events, most of the time DMs will compensate XP-wise those that die in events. So I waited in the Forest of Night for about 45 mins, (because to me 300xp is a lot) periodically trying to contact a DM for confirmation.

Long story short, I got ressurected thanks to a dwarf who stole my corpse...and it turns out he res'ed the wrong guy. Thankfully anyway. My point is, I value my xp because it's the main reason for me to play NWN and DND, roleplaying being second. If I could get xp from talking I would but for now its Killing!

(PS. I love Sundren and am looking forward to it's growth and development)
