Everybody has a piece of cake on this server.
Personally, I play within' the rules and I've upset some people somewhat with my PvP elements, but I also enjoy the flow of Campfires, and long walks, talks about plans and such.
(As far as PvP, I stay in character through all means and I DESPISE actually killing someone, I truly prefer to just knock you out - For Damian that spreads fear and the offering to the Dark Father from bloody wounds is made. :P)
Paladins are - well - I think honestly I agree that they should be a request class. That is a very linear, ridiculously strong, and what should be very perfected form of RP'ed character. Not to be rude but, Paladins can rock about any persons socks off, bad guy or no. That being said, I could be wrong and perhaps they should stay up for grabs.
Yes, there are plenty of people who seriously look at an end goal of around 60/60/60/60/55/50/45 attack with like 68 AC and massive death from hips. It's an element you must deal with as this server honestly offers the most, the DM staff is doing amazing.
This thread was only sparked because I saw that daily as possibly unfair, it could just be that he smites good more - or does meaner stuff, I don't really know - we'll try a more tactical approach if possible next time. I never intended to say others were weak, but it's been address that a good portion of players from my experience can eat that vamp with a few potions.

Everyone here is amazing, I love playing with you all. I made an Enforcer character as the BH does need a more present force outreach - someone who makes a presence that we're very strong and real. (OK maybe not very strong but he gives off the impression of GRRR ) That being said - I despise killing straight up and I've had to go against a few people I liked already. Was it easy? No, but I stayed IC and followed rules and informed them: "Hey, I'm truly sorry, there is no ill intent OOC." For the most part they'er understanding and well. All people should take into the consideration that if you're going to make a character, make sure he can RP as well as he can dominate mechanics. Everyone wants a strong character, but more so people like to Rp then they would destroy ever single enemy they have. I understand River's frustration truly. The idea of you having a hard time handling some orcs, and then someone else can melt through Whurest and making ten-thousand upon runs is... Who else can say that truly then a select few?

R - You're going to get aggravated, but remember to enjoy the game. No amount of combat, grinding, and aggressiveness will make up for true RP!
