We need a few more races running about. It would make for some very interesting RP.
Active Characters Hashart Datton- Marshal of the Black Hand Oliver Ironhide- Guardian Lynk Frost-Champion of Bane
Dorin Hammond- Scout
Seith Ronson- Master of War "A system of morality which is based on relative emotional values is a mere illusion, a thoroughly vulgar conception which has nothing sound in it and nothing true." Socrates

I am full heartedly for this! I would suggest Warforged, as well. It'd be cool to run around as a human sized sentient golem. It would also give us plenty of chance to build out automated forces for certain factions who want them.
We can axe if we want to, leave that sword behind. Because your friends don't axe, and if they don't axe then they're no friends of mine.

Monster Races, if they were to be introduced, would be subject to certain restrictions accorded to their place in the world - Thayan Gnolls, as per the suggestion, would have to be total servants of Thay, be limited to non-good alignments and probably limited in terms of class (no casters). In return they wouldn't be KOS in most places (though some would be utterly off limits) unlike a normal gnoll.
All that for exactly the same reasons that other races/classes have such restrictions - Special Butterfly Syndrome.
As for other races - I can think of one or two that could be added without things getting silly and KOSy (or requiring huge amounts of mapping/lore drafting in order to add). In terms of development time Thayan Gnolls would require the least
It is the greatest of all mistakes to do nothing because you can only do a little - Do what you can. Sydney Smith.
Becky Dragonhin - Sword of the Loyal Fury, Knight of the Triad... the only Good hin in Sundren??? Cybil Gelley (Retired) Perry Turnipfodder - aspiring talent, happy chronicler.
Many other servers offer multiple races. Normally I'm against monstrous races, and it should be understood that there are some character concepts that will always, or more than likely, attack on sight outside "protected" areas. Saying certain races are "off limits" wouldn't be very fair. It goes both ways. That being said, I support the idea, and I think it could offer a draw to attract more new players.

Reason: New rephrasing.

Seeing as there is a whole island of lizard folk and a tribe of them that has had history with Sundren though sestra, they make the most scene to at to me. I like the idea of adding knolls I really do love knolls but dont like the idea of having them locked up souly in the thayan faction. There is just not a Red wizard population big enough to support them being thayan only in my opinion. Look at all the thayan knights walking around...

I agree, we need more knolls in Sundren. The landscape is far too flat for my liking :P
(I'm sorry, this made me lol I couldn't help myself)

Yes, I realise my RP writing sucks. Just be thankful I keep it short
