Having a handful of small pathfinder esq tweaks is radically different from moving over to the pathfinder system.
As has been said countless times before, it is highly unlikely that the current crafting system will be modified, there are more pressing areas for our DEV team to work on in the short term and the long term plan already includes a new crafting system.
