Heed's PC Tools are great because he has a looping or single-shot button at the bottom of his emote list.
This way, we could use all the emotes possible, either once or over and over, at the choice of each player.

It apparently has a lot of cool other things, too. For example, prop based emotes (digging emote with an actual shovel in the PC's hands).

I'm not sure where I saw it, but Heed's tools might be compatible with DMFI. This is certainly something to check out.

Sitting should work on next update and emotes should last more than 5 minutes for animation (was 300 seconds, is 9999 now).

Basically when you open he language bar, you type the emote in * *'s and it'll activate.

        *Kneels*
        *Falls Backwards*

I added *Sits* which will cause you to sit on the ground (In theory, havn't tested yet).

Could there be some sort of menu options for emotes (like how the skills are)

Like to what was suggested above (about looping or single shot etc)

Sometimes I prefer not to do the voice bar thing

Could be, but it's all extra UI effort right now, which Obsidian keeps updating. I'd rather wait til 1.06 to do anything with UI for awhile.

Some day in the future, when more important things have been completed, can we look at this again? The emote *sit* still causes a character to kneel on the ground. What I think a lot of us would really like to do is to fully sit on the ground (with the character's behind touching the ground). And while I am at it, there are a lot of nice looking benches and chairs that I would like to be able to have my character sit on, if that is ever possible. These small things make RPing around campfires, in taverns, etc, more realistic and enjoyable. Thanks for all your time and hard work!

ActionSit is broke. You can't sit on objects (chairs). We've stated many times this is a bug in the game that will be fixed in 1.06 ... As for sitting on the ground, we'll probably end up adding that to the OOC tool or modifying DMFI's sit emote.

I added the sit emote, I think the animation they labelled sit would be sit. Let me see if I can find the right ID.

Sitting on ground crosslegged works, verified. Simply open any DMFI language chat and type *sit*
