    *bump*

    v3par has done further stirling work. There is now a THIRD beard available.

    I can understand reticence about the Witcher-style beard, as it is far fuller than the NWN2 standard beards.

    However, I suggest at least considering the other two. The new one looks grand, and the Oghren-style beard looks even better in motion than then screenshots suggest.

      I kinda like them all. The longer length is the kicker.
      Besides, as it stands, there isn't much choice for a dwarf's appearance.

                  I actually just noticed this thread now... I don't think we have a huge population of dwarves on the server but these models appear to be quite well made and weigh in at about 2 or 3mb...

                  So I do think this is something we could probably do without a huge effort...
                  The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.

                      And another Huzzah! This has been a day long awaited.

                      I understand the files in the hak work for Shield Dwarf males only, sorry Thief of Navarre. It's probably the reason the file size is relatively small.

                        Talking about beards, I gave the complete beard to 2 of the existing heads. New heads, not replacements (well technically not new since the meshes are the same).

                                Bit of thread necromancy here, but for the record there's a heck of a lot of dwarves if you pop on at the right times. Some of us dwarf players are fairly exclusive about it too, having multiple dwarf characters. They do currently have access to one of the best scaling warrior type PRC's in the game as an attraction, but the biggest attraction I think is probably just how thematic they are to the region being so close to the north as we are.

                                At anyrate, while I've never actually had any complaints for the default beards I would love to see some more variety.
